GBDealing with acid reflux For quite some time I have been dealing with acid reflux due to a duodenal hernia. Barring major chest surgery I am relegated to taking Prilosec antacid on a daily basis to control the excess stomach acid pain. I have found over the past year that drinking the alkali water regularly in conjunction with the antacid has cut my need for Prilosec in half, down to every 'other' day. I can't say for sure it's a direct result of the water, but results are results. Nothing else has changed. I believe the pitcher has had a positive effect on my situation.
