Good, caring support and new management excellent My mother is supported by Home Instead. Although she was initially reluctant to agree that she needed care, she is now very happy and looks forward to her visits. Her carers are kind and supportive, and generally keep good notes which helps me to keep an eye on what is happening with her (she has dementia so is not able to tell me much about what has happened). The relatively new management has been excellent, and I have been listened to and concerns responded to quickly

Only want your money Here are a few words I would describe this company Unsympathetic Pushy Greedy Demanding And charging extortionate prices in the process. My parent went from being able to walk to being hospitalised within 3 weeks of using this company and then they carried on charging us for the 30 days notice we had to give. Unbelievable.

Compassionate, trustworthy end of life care We couldn’t have been happier with the service and care that we received. Tula in particular was a pleasure to have around at a very hard time. I would recommend Home Instead to anyone. All I ever wanted was for my Mother to pass away peacefully in her own home. This was only possible with Home Instead.

dont waste your time, Bethlehem, PA was working for a client and everything was going well. as soon as I had enough hours to get benefits I got a text message from owner that I was fired with no explanation. They told my client I quit, but that was rectified when he hired me privately and ditched home instead. They are a greedy , low life, low integrity company who treats employees like garbage and clients even worse. They also show up at unemployent hearings with lawyers and battle your unemployment claim. Go elsewhere.

Appalling standard of carer, creating risk and causing distress We were truly appalled by the standard of care and the behaviour of the carer. At the basic level, she failed to attend to water intake, leading to dehydration. She put her client at risk by undertaking an ‘outing’ which appeared to suit her social preferences, rather than the needs of her client. She drank alcohol, whilst on duty. We would NEVER use Home Instead again and we warn others to be careful about the calibre of carer that they may send
