CAThe document was full uncorrected… The document was full uncorrected typos. Also, the editor kept suggesting to change verb tense, then again suggesting writing in active voice. Honestly, if I know all this why would be using and editor? Here are some of the comments in the document: "Earlier you discussed your work in present tense. It all needs to match throughout the document. I recommend going back to the earlier discussion and changing those verbs to past tense. " "If you change the other verb tenses back to present, change this also. " "Do your best to write in active voice. Sometimes we cannot avoid passive voice, or it’s needed, but active is usually stronger. "

GBAmateurish The edit suggestions were amateurish. I would never hire the 'supposed' fiction editor.

GBThe light at the end of the tunnel I am so grateful with (name). She helped make a daunting task not so daunting. The consultation was so helpful; it helped me feel at ease. I felt more comfortable about my personal statement because she helped me focus on my passions and experiences. Writing my personal statement was easier. Thanks again for your timely responses and all of your help!

GBThey are the BEST !!! I've used DLA's help for both residency and fellowship and have been told by multiple program directors during interviews that my personal statement was really well written ! I can't thank DLA enough ! They are extremely prompt, very professional, know EXACTLY what I want to say and end up saying it in better words. Totally worth the money ! My husband will be applying next year and he's going to be taking their help too ! Thank you very much team, you guys are brilliant.
