GBAmazingly Good and Invisible Before purchasing FROM Eargo, I did a lot of research online, of course without the ability test them before purchase. However, the 45 day guarantee offered was enough for me and I decide to give them a try. The first time that I tried them I noticed an amazing difference. The sound was very crisp, clear and made a huge difference. I did the Sound Match three times and was surprised that each time it produced a slightly different result – sometimes better and others less so. In short I experimented trying to find the perfect settings. After a couple of weeks, I obtained a copy of a hearing test that I had completed approximately a year ago and after a telephone conversation with Jerry in support, I forwarded the report to him. Apparently the report suggested quite a few differences from the setting resulting from Sound Match. Jerry was able to program in the test results and the results went from good to great. They are conformable to wear all day, such that I forgot that I was wearing them half the time, the battery lasts forever and finally I have to mention their support dept. They kept in touch with me from day one and when I called for some assistance they were ready to help in any way they could. The whole experience is 5 STARS.

GBEargo 7 - Very Satisfied - Generally, the product itself (Eargo 7) has met or exceeded my expectations, I would rate it 8 or 9 on a scale of 10 on how well it helped my hearing, and how satisfied I am with the purchase, only refraining from a 10 because I've never used hearing aids until now, and I have no relative experience with anything else. However, this product seems to be high quality, and good at doing what it's supposed to do. One key thing to understand is that it takes a little bit of adjustment time to get used to 'hearing' again, and get the aids adjusted to your comfort. After a few weeks, I completely forget that they're in. - The customer support resources are really good, with many how-to videos for common questions, etc. I found these very valuable. - The customer service reps, both pre-sale and afterwards, were 'gold standard'. All communications were prompt, and exceeded my expectations. The insurance specialist was particularly persistent in dealing directly with my audiologist. She made numerous calls, and spent substantial time on hold, finally getting the information she needed from the health care provider to confirm and authorize my insurance coverage with my carrier. The customer service experience was a key factor in my decision to proceed with the purchase. - The in-house audiologist that I spoke with 1-on-1 after my purchase was also excellent. I had a problem transferring my 'Sound Match' settings to the charger initially, a Bluetooth issue. She knew of the problem and instructed me on resolving it. She also had a lot of answers to my initial questions about the operation; everything from itchy ears to how to adjust settings. She was excellent. - Perhaps the only very slight negative in my experience was with the Eargo phone app. I found that it wasn't as 'intuitive' as some apps, but as in most software products, once you become familiar with it, it does what it's supposed to do. I had no issues with the ultrasound control whatever. I also noticed recently that an update is coming, so I expect the App will be even better. My 1-on-1 meeting with the Eargo specialist post-purchase was invaluable in respect to this topic.

GBLack of ability to cure App problem I very much liked Eargo 7 when I first bought them, despite having to have three right side earbuds replaced, without charge, since May last year. Eargo have recently updated their app and since then, I am unable to use it. When I go to log in, I am told that I have the wrong password, despite trying several. When I attempted, (several times), to change my password, I keep on being told that they have emailed me another but it never arrives. When I called them, twice now, the ladies were very nice but unable to help. It's been several days now that I can't use my eargos and I'm fed up of this non-treatment. I want to return my eargos, get my money back and look for another hearing aid.

GBI am enjoying my new Eargo SE I am enjoying my new Eargo SE. The product I feel is definitely better than my first pair of Eargo NEO HIFI. The setup, new smaller charger and quality of sound is a tremendous improvement. They are more comfortable. The cost was very reasonable for the product offered. I am enjoying my new Eargo SE to the fullest.
