GBNew lenses placed on wrong side The folks at Boomerang are friendly enough. But my recent experience was most unpleasant. I sent them my Warby Parker frames to re-lens after my Rx update. I received the new lenses and proceeded to wear them. My vision did not feel right so I stopped wearing them. My optometrist looked at them and found that the lenses were placed in the glasses backwards. I contacted Boomerang and they apologized. Even if they had offered a credit of some sort I am probably not going to use them again.

GBBoomerang - poor quality Purchased lenses from this company They filled the prescription incorrectly I repackaged the glasses to return them I requested a prepaid label to return the order They will not accept this; rather they request you reenter the order which is time consuming and not user friendly Not a company you want to do business with

GBBoomerang for the win! I couldn't be happier. Over the years, I have had several pairs of glasses with high quality frames but since they aren't made any more the optical shops where I got them can't re-lens them. Enter Boomerang, from a Facebook ad which I almost never pay attention to. Their connection to 1-800 contacts sold me. For my first pair I sent in a frame to be made into computer glasses along with a new prescription. I love that they can take the PD off the old lens. Bottom line-I'm typing this review at my desk and deciding on which pair of frames goes in now for everyday glasses. Communication is one thing that really makes or breaks a transaction for me, and Boomerang scores 100% on that as well as product quality.

GBShould have read the reviews before buying Horrible experience. Sent two pairs of eyeglass frames in to Boomerang and both were received and returned as expected. But one frame, an expensive Orgreen, had a loose temple. They said it came like that - it didn't - when I went to an Orgreen retailer, they examined and said the original screw was replaced with one that was not a match. Orgreen fixed the issue. Then a week later, I noticed a crack in the right lense. I complained. Boomerang senta box for releasing for free. And then I received a tracking number when it was shipped. It never arrived and when inquiring, they asked me to wait a full week. It never arrived. To make up for the lost glasses, they sent me a code for 50% off frames and lenses at their sister company Liingo.com. The frames there are cheap and ugly - and basically I am now being pushed to spend even more money with a company that messed up my order 2X. They offered a refund to make up for a partial payment for the old expensive frames, but they never asked how I wanted to receive it and they simply applied it to the healthcare debit card I used for the prescription -- so I cant even access those funds. Overall a lousy experience, I'm out a lot of money, and I should have read the other negative reviews here before dealing with them. If I could give negative stars I would.

GBThis is a crap shoot. A while back, I placed an order with Boomerang and everything went smoothly and in a timely fashion. In June, I decided to use their services again. I sent them a pair of very expensive frames and heard nothing. Apparently, the frames were lost in the mail, and I received this response: "We hate to see it, although if for any reason these do not arrive to us or they are lost in the mail we would not be liable for the loss of your frames as shown here [in] our terms and conditions, however, we would most definitely get you fully refunded for your order and even provide you with a discount at our sister company Liingo Eyewear for some snazzy specs." One would think that even if it cost a few dollars more, this company would include in-transit insurance. Now I've lost not only one of my favorite frames but also the original lenses. "Snazzy specs", indeed.
