I finally got one dad! At 72, you might say I've been around awhile. But my dad used to tell me about a "D" quitar he had, and how much he loved it. Being from Manhattan, he remembered the craftsmanship, the attention to detail beyond what was common for the day. So I promised myself I would bless myself with one. I am beyond happy with my mini D, smooth, sexy as hell, delicate to the touch, a treasure I'll treasure. Well, to tell the truth , it' only the beginning. Thank you D'Angelico, for coming back and bringing my promise to life. So looking forward to my next big D!

Art Deco Ebony Knobs I replaced the plastic volume and tone knobs on my Premier SS with the ebony knobs available on the D'Angelico website, and used on Excel and Deluxe versions. There was nothing wrong with the original knobs, I just wanted the more Art Deco vibe of those classic ebony knobs. And I notice the new Premieres now include the ebony knobs as standard. Nice upgrade!

I stop by any time I am in town to soak up the good vibes, strum some amazing guitars, and this time around actually came home with a semi hollow body that sounds amazing and plays great after the team completed a quick setup for me. Try, try again…. You guys did great at shipping me my new stair step tailpiece. However, on receiving my new, nicer, beefier Tailpiece, I can’t help thinking that there had been problems with the original, (mine tore off at the hinge, having been mostly in the case, never gigged, never dropped.). At any rate, the new unit is noticeably thicker gauge metal, more plating, and all around nicer.
