My music suddenly got removed from all… My music suddenly got removed from all social media sites like YouTube and Meta without any explanation and they have been zero help. They have been replying with the same automated reply email that has nothing to do with my music and not answering any of my questions. My music was 100% original composition on solo piano. I am considering removing all my music from CDBaby and look for a new distributor. Any recommendations?

Fast and reliable I was surprised how fast the distribution to streaming platform was. On reddit some users stated, that it took them over 2 weeks to realese their material. In my case it was done under a week, album completely realesed. Submitting your album/single to distribution is easily done. Only one downside is the customer support. They´ll help you, but it will take 2-3 days for them to respond. In my case before they responded to me, the problem solved itself.

CD Baby - Awesome! For someone who doesn’t upload more than about 12+ separate titles per year, every year, FOREVER, CD Baby should ALWAYS be the way to go! The pricing is fair, the support is decent and there’s no limit to your amount of artists! For someone who’d rather have no recurring payments, THIS is the music distribution service for me!

CDBaby used to be good when you could… CDBaby used to be good when you could reach a live person, but like so many of these online companies they are all about getting your money and letting bots do the work. Well, the bots cannot fix the issue I am having and I have found absolutely no way to get a person to help even by email so I am stuck while they collect millions and I get trickles of pennies per song. I just released more music, paid for all of their services and they are failing to live up to what they say they can do like create a YouTube Artist Channel. If a customer has an issue and there is a glitch and you've already paid them as your distributor you are screwed. I am beyond frustrated right now with the ghosting. Since they refuse to make a way to fulfill their proclaimed services there should be a class action lawsuit against them. I hate to write this, but you know there needs to be accountability with these greedy online bot wielding ghosting companies!

My experience with CD Baby has been perfect My experience with CD Baby has been perfect. I made a couple of "mistakes" in setting up my account and there was no negative vibe whatsoever. My emails were addressed, answered promptly and the issue resolved. The Hearnow page is beautiful and easy to edit just the way you would want it. The dash board is very precise too, this is well thought out and one more thing........ it is not a requirement that you have a mobile phone to have an account which I find refreshing. Seems to me CD Baby's only requirement is to simply love music.
