GBFirst time user I have done business with Distrokid for many years and they have changed policies and created an untrustworthy platform. I was referred to CD Baby by a friend and they stated that they have had a positive experience so I'm giving it a try before I move my entire catalog over.

DEAbsolutely the worst Absolutely the worst, stay away people! I released music through them almost a decade ago and to this day I’m trying to get all their mistakes sorted myself. On YouTube, Spotify just everywhere my music was mixed up on other channels. To get the music on my channel seems to be impossible which it shouldn’t be. On Spotify it’s still not on my account. On you tube either and their last suggestion was to delete all my content off of YouTube so they can maybe put my music onto my channel. I own the rights and it’s just absolutely ridiculous!! Oh they reply after 6 months and sometimes a year so yeah don’t bother!!

I have a buddy helping me do this, so I must confer with him on how to go about writing this review. So far, I appreciate CDBaby for the acceptance of my music and the distribution of it. GBWhen you don't know what you don't know CD Baby has really streamlined the process of getting music from sketch to released. Given this process entails many steps that would have been entire businesses in the past, this is remarkable. The support videos are excellent - exactly the type of hand holding I needed by first time. And the options available after that help illuminate all the things I did not know I needed.
