GBFirst time user I have done business with Distrokid for many years and they have changed policies and created an untrustworthy platform. I was referred to CD Baby by a friend and they stated that they have had a positive experience so I'm giving it a try before I move my entire catalog over.

GBI would give negative -10 if possible! Unhelpful to the core! I would give negative 10 if possible! Terrible Customer Service... They created a mess for us not registering our work with BMI like they agreed too... I Have missed out on royalties because of it and they have not been helpful in resolving this issue that has now gone on for years ... It has taken approximately 6 months just for them to reply to an email.. then another 6 months for another unhelpful reply.. Would not recommend

GBEff CD Baby My experience with CD baby was so infuriating. I've been trying to put out a project for more than a month. They kept messing it up and telling me to edit the project, which couldn't be edited. I reached out more than 10 times, submitted tickets, sent emails, I can't get in touch with them. There is no customer service line and I'm going to have to use a different distributor. I'm so angry it's been such a struggle - I hate them please don't use CD baby they suck.

AUCD BABY = DODGY (Follow Up) The Merry Go Round Keeps Going Round Well Shame I can't reply to their semi automated reply to my previous Review. I filled in a takedown/copyrite form via email only to get another Automated reply with a link to the same takdown form I've already filled a couple times. As far as I'm concerned If CD Baby allows just anyone with an account to place artists music up without permission from the actual artist, then the onus is on them to contact/ chase the account holder, and not expect Me (The artist) to do so. It's not My neglegence. Sort Your dodgy Issues out.

GBCDbaby the Original I trust CDbaby because they are the first to support independent musicians online. I had a co-worker who was an artist a long time ago & I purchased his cd online. CDbaby was the only place I could do that at the time. Now releasing music myself, I’ve experienced how they support artists with podcasts, blogs, videos & much more. I also like that there’s no annual fees on submissions & the process is simple.
