GBGet rid of sail boat intro on each module! This course was extremely annoying to take due to the 10 second sail boat intro on almost every module! By the time I was on the 2nd or 3rd module I was totally distracted on how to move through these introductions. This also needlessly increased the time it took to take each module and thus course! This was dropped on the last few modules and it was much better as I stopped stewing about having to try to skip through that time consuming intro! Other than that, Great class!

GBI tried completing the boating… I tried completing the boating education course but once I got to the final video, it would not let me move on to the chapter 9 quiz or the final exam. On the page, it says the time has not expired and has been stuck like that for days now. I've tried to call and even email boater exam but no one responds or answers the phone. New: Boaterexam contacted me and was able to resolve my issue

CAAccredited but a ripoff with lots of technical issues The exam and course are easy but they make it a hassle to actually get your card so that you'll dole out more money for replacements. They also don't answer the phone or emails. I completed the course a while ago and the exam yesterday, but the issue date is the day I started the course, not the day I wrote the exam, so my temp card is expired and they're not sending me a physical card. So now if I want my card, I have to pay another fee on top of the course fee. Ripoff. Use freecourse .com it's cheaper and a lot more reliable as far as I know

GBWell worth the price; No one should sail overnight without taking this course Chuck Hawley is a fantastic presenter. He speaks slowly and clearly and is never pedantic, which would be really annoying. His organizational skills and your production quality are top notch. Great information throughout, though I was disappointed with the weather portion...too much emphasis on racing, and alot of impractical information. Who cares that a "fast boat can stay ahead of dipole squall" or what a Hadley Cell is? What we needed was closer up interactive animated weather maps, and more information about getting weather information readily on board. And how about a chapter on plugging hull breaches, checking seacocks, checking wiring? How about good watch and shift-scheduling habits? Finally, I realize you don't want to be mercenary, but you should have a place on your site where you list the gear you talk about and links to the vendors.
