Having the ability to review incorrect answers The course, quizes and final test were not stressful and I learned a great deal about safety and how to properly operate a pleasure craft. I would have one suggestion . . . . when I answered a question (questions) incorrectly on either a quiz or the final test, knowing what question(s) were incorrect would allowed me to go back and study and/or review that section of the course to ensure I don't make "any" errors when operating a pleasure craft....

Easy to follow online course Easy to follow online course. Quick review at the end of each section with a practice quiz and quiz before the next section. Easily passed the test for my safety certificate after taking the class.

Well worth the price; No one should sail overnight without taking this course Chuck Hawley is a fantastic presenter. He speaks slowly and clearly and is never pedantic, which would be really annoying. His organizational skills and your production quality are top notch. Great information throughout, though I was disappointed with the weather portion...too much emphasis on racing, and alot of impractical information. Who cares that a "fast boat can stay ahead of dipole squall" or what a Hadley Cell is? What we needed was closer up interactive animated weather maps, and more information about getting weather information readily on board. And how about a chapter on plugging hull breaches, checking seacocks, checking wiring? How about good watch and shift-scheduling habits? Finally, I realize you don't want to be mercenary, but you should have a place on your site where you list the gear you talk about and links to the vendors.

The material was logically presented… The material was logically presented and laid out. The quiz’s after each of the five sections mirrored what to expect of the licensing test. There were no surprises in the final test.
