I wanted to give a good review I wanted to give a good review - but they have reviewers on their site who are offensive to other reviewers all the time, but get away with it because some 'like' their posts, and they actually review regularly. Very soon only those reviewers will be left because you can sense that others are fed up with being sworn at all the time if they disagree. If this is what Goodreads want, then OK - they can do without me.

bot reviews I have read reviews that are false; they bear little resemblance to the book I've been reading. I believe it's the result of some clever bot scheme. Here's the story of one of the reviewers who praised a pathetic, clumsily-written book: She posted 19 reviews today, Oct. 15th; She has posted 82 reviews in the past 5 days, which would average out to 5,986 books a year. She posted 209 reviews the day she joined Goodreads, and then took a year and 7 months off to catch up, then posted 108 books on one day, most of them not rated (?). What a story awaits the author who wants to pursue this reviewer!

Armchair Traveller The Third Grace, by Deb Elkink This is an amazing story and will take you from a primitive farm to the big city, and across the ocean, all from your easy chair. Deb's detailed story-writing brings the reader right on location with her extensive knowledge of what she's writing about and her descriptive prose. Whether it is scenery, customs, or foods, she nails it so well. The story encompasses many of today's twists and turns and subject matter. You don't want to miss this re-launch!

I will kill you in my dream by Kristina Gallo I enjoyed reading 'I will kill you in my dream' by Kristina Gallo. She is a talented author who will, I believe, go far with her stories. I found her characters in Croatia a little scary - particularly Sandra and the German, Danijel - both of whom die. But I felt that Kristina captured the feelings of many young teenaged girls, and I have high hoped for her future as a writer of fiction. Phil Rowan

Interesting idea, but let down by selling your info. Thought this was a good site, allowing you to keep track of the books you have read, set reading goals for yourself, even see what friends are reading. Unfortunately, quickly found the site shares your information on a massive scale. A few days after signing up, I saw a huge influx of spam and scam messages being sent to me e-mail address. Been reporting and blocking these messages for a 2 weeks now, and there seems to be no end to it. Definatel has to be this site, as there are no other new sites I've joined in the past few months.
