Great concept, sloppy execution I bought the treasure chest to assemble for my daughter's birthday. I have built other wooden models from other companies, and this is the first time I've found anything so infuriating. The execution on the measurements is abysmal. Nothing fits quite as it should, always too tight by a smidge. I get that wood breathes and that it can expand, yet this is what laser cutting is for: precision. Insofar I've broken a couple of pieces simply because they would not slide in their lodging, and I had to force my way through. I'm keeping my hopes that I can eventually get to the end of this, but it's the first and last time I'm buying a product from this company. Ever heard of quality control? No? You should look into it. At 60€, this is unacceptable. So disappointing.

Great concept but it comes with way too… Great concept but it comes with way too many fragile tooth picks and they need to be cut down to size. The small holes make it impossible not to break the toothpicks. My 14 year old son who has successfully built other models found this extremely frustrating and did not complete it.

Horrible Horrible! Don't waste your money. I just bought 2 R17 trains to try to get one together where the parts didn't break! I still haven't got one without breaking several parts. The toothpicks are absolutely insane to try to force through the holes. Prepare to sand...A LOT! Prepare to glue broken parts too. I've contacted the company to try to get replacement boards, but from what I understand, they aren't very helpful, and the replacement boards are $10 a board if you can get them. I wouldn't waste my money on them again. VERY dissapointed

Amazing Design & Technology I’m working on my fourth model - built the Train as my first, built the Car Trailer, the Tank Trailer & will be starting the Big Rig. I’m amazed at the Design & technology that has gone into these models. The on-line instruction is invaluable & I rely on it for everything I build. I did notice that on-line build video instruction is not available for all models-example-the Mechanical Ferris Wheel. Wish it was available. I love Wood Trick models and have convinced friends to give Wood Trick models a try. Lou Cocco

I have the Mars rover. I have the Mars rover. With the Spring motor. I've sanded and lubricated all moving parts with paravan. And there is still too much drag for the motor to run on its own. I think the problem may be between the flat drive here and the 2 gears that are set at 90° off of that, But it could be just an accumulation of all of the moving parts. Is there something I can do to make parts move more freely possibly a different Lubricant?
