It's an excellent choice. I was looking for a Yamaha C7 Vst library and while visiting the forums, I came across this magnificent C6 with a raw sound, very close, timbral and sufficiently bright. I don't know much about the Yamaha C6 but I often played on a real C7 in the studio and I found a great similarity with the Modern Grand from Hammer & Waves. I really appreciate Skybox Audio for their highly precise work and their configurations which offer a multitude of possibilities. However, the absence of a Velocity Silent Key and a re-pedalling system are notable. The Modern Grand by Hammer & Waves is one of the most real libraries that I have heard in Yamaha's long VST series. It's an excellent choice.

The E that is 2 octaves above middle… The E that is 2 octaves above middle doesn't ring like the rest. Ive tried multiple keyboards and tried transposing. It is always that key. Distortion is sometimes a problem near max volume. I don't like that the display in kontack is much wider than all the others. Other than that, its really good. Even better once I found all the variations of Rhodes configurations.

Outstanding! This is an extremely detailed library. Very accurate too! I enjoyed every sound and every feature. It is heavy for a reason with all the features, presets, and built-in breathtaking reverbs/delays! I can’t wait to make more content with it. The fractal feature is beyond imagination and inspired me on the spot to come up with great sounds.

I don't think playing this will ever get old I've been wanting to purchase for a while after seeing some ads online (Instagram). The ad was the best commercial I've ever seen, with the product being showcased through the audio, with the video just showing you the features used to make the audio in the background track. It was insanely meta and self referential and I loved every second; watched it multiple times. The track was killer as well, especially with the drop to transition from default samples to the modded sounds; the composer has mad talent. I've been playing with this pack for a couple of days after purchasing and holy crap man. The default presets are so good already and the touch feels great out of the box with my SL88 Grand. It just punches in this way that makes me feel like there's a pluck in my keys (except there's no click or notch in my keyboard's action). Suitcase 73 and UX Upright default presets are definitely my favorites. Playing this is a dream.

What's to complain about? I have only bought one product from skybox: their Hammer & Waves acoustic set. But, I have to say, it has quickly become my favorite piano sample. The sale was easy. Uploading through Native Access was straightforward. All in all, this is how to do it. Great product, really good price point, and ease of downloading. Add great playability and there's nothing to complain about.
