Hammers + Waves Suitcase 73 I bought the electric bundle, because of the Suitcase 73. This is by far my favourite Rhodes VST, after trying most of the famous ones. I don't really use the adventurous effects, and stick to the natural sounding ones. I love the fact that you can add mechanical noise and impulse responses. You can make it sound as if you where in front of a actual Rhodes or studio clean. The playability is impeccable. By tweaking the velocity, you can make it bark quicker, if you have a heavy action keyboard. My favourite Rhodes VST! Great work Skybox!

The most innovative Piano based plugin The most innovative Piano based plugin. This is easily a must-have for anyone looking to get a truly professional piano/keyboard sound and then get a ton of other unique effects that truly make your creativity blossom. The inspiration I’ve gotten from this vst is refreshing. I’m usually very traditional with my choice of instrumentation in my compositions. This takes me outside my comfort zones. Affordable, easy customizable user interface, useful features. I’m very pleased with this design. I own other piano/electric libraries. This isn’t them, refreshing.

It's an excellent choice. I was looking for a Yamaha C7 Vst library and while visiting the forums, I came across this magnificent C6 with a raw sound, very close, timbral and sufficiently bright. I don't know much about the Yamaha C6 but I often played on a real C7 in the studio and I found a great similarity with the Modern Grand from Hammer & Waves. I really appreciate Skybox Audio for their highly precise work and their configurations which offer a multitude of possibilities. However, the absence of a Velocity Silent Key and a re-pedalling system are notable. The Modern Grand by Hammer & Waves is one of the most real libraries that I have heard in Yamaha's long VST series. It's an excellent choice.
