GBRVshare scam and reply Buyer be aware. The insurance that RVshare forces you to purchase is a scam and in some states illegal. You give your credit card and pay the fees to only find out that you cannot check no on insurance. The problem is I had the trailer delivered by the owner. I do not need road side which they make you purchase. To top that they cover windshield repair along other things that a trailer does not even have. It is very clear that after you have already paid the fee that you cannot get out of the contract now without loosing the fee amount. I total scam. Other rental company’s do not do this and the rentals are less money. It is strongly suggested to not use RVshare unless you enjoy being forced to paid insurance for something that does not exist. A good example is a broken windshield. FYI a trailer does not have a windshield and if the trailer is delivered why would RVshare require me to have roadside insurance.

GBDale was great, owner a pain in the hiney! Dale was great in assisting to find more insurance required by the owner on short notice. If owners require specific things then it needs to be included in the beginning of the rental agreement. As it stands it costs us $79.00 dollars extra because the owner suddenly decided they wanted interior insurance coverage. This was not part of the original contract, and should be the owners responsibility. My wife went ahead and paid it. I was for cancelling and getting our money back plus interest. Or contact my attorney and let them deal with it. Bottom line, if you are going to rent an RV, then have all the info included, if not then its on RV Share and the owner. I feel its another way for these people to nickel and dime renters.

GBI have rented my RV on RVshare for… I have rented my RV on RVshare for years. Not happy with changes that the company is making because they don’t protect the renter. Renting an RV is a lot of work and takes a lot of time keeping your rig road ready. They have a very strict cancelation policy and they have loop holes that allow renters to bypass the cancelation policy and that puts RV owners in a bad spot. I live in the mountains and have to setup my RV prior to renter and tear it down and not store anything in it during downtime. With this policy loop hole I have lost out on lots of my time when they fail to verify insurance till the last minute. This loop hole should be closed so that Rv owners time are protected. I have delisted by RV with them and will be using other sites. I enjoy renting my RV allowing others to experience RV life and meeting new people. It’s unfortunate that it has come to this.

GBThe worst company to rent from The worst company to rent from. Whatever the RV owner charges, RV Share doubles it by tacking on fees and unnecessary costs. Other sites do the same but a lot less. If you rent from the website, try contacting the owner directly to get a way better deal.
