It is exactly the hide pictured and more beautiful in person. There are a few scars, as I expected from reading their information and reviews, but they are few, minor and don't stand out. In fact, I think that they lend an authentic vibe. I am very pleased and the shipping was pretty quick. Especially considering the hide came all the way from Colombia! I highly recommend Prime Cowhides!
