GBI ordered day lillies I ordered day lillies. Each one arrived riddles with flying bugs. They sent replacements that are also full of bugs. They contend it’s just “gnats” but it looks exactly like something called dysaphis tulipae which is an aphid. They still refuse to issue a refund and recommend planting that crap.

GBService rep did not understand complaint I entered the code for free shipping on my order over $45. When I was billed $7.95 for shipping I called customer service. The rep asked me why I was calling 3 times (I answered 3 times, I wanted credit for my free shipping). The 4th time he asked I said I wanted to speak to a supervisor. He kept apologizing but would not transfer me to a supervisor. I hung up after telling him I would dispute the charges on my CC. He called me back to say he just credited me on the shipping. Very very poor customer service.

GBTulip World offers great prices on… Tulip World offers great prices on plants as well as shipping. I have never had to complain about the condition of the plants because they have performed well but I'm sure they will make things right just as their sister company, Holland Bulb Farms always do. I have ordered several amaryllis bulbs when they offer sales and have never gotten a rotten bulb which I have experienced with other companies.

GBBulbs and perennials I order bulbs as well as 4 perennials. The daffs were good bulbs - all healthy, good size. Just got spring delivery of gladiola and liatris bulbs; they look good, but white liatris 10 pack was short a bulb, no big deal. The 4 perennials were tiny root stocks which arrived with 1" grown, two of which already had some brown and dying off growth. I put them right in the ground when they arrived, but only time will tell if they will do well. I'll probably buy bulbs from them again but for the money, size and quality, I'll source my perennials from local nurseries from now on.

GBI was very skeptical at first since I… I was very skeptical at first since I ordered crocus and hyacinth bulbs in Sept. and they didn't arrive until mid November. We planted them nonetheless and, surprisingly, they all came up. However the very best part was that these yellow crocuses did not "wilt' in the rain! Their stems were strong and they lasted in flower for quite a while! I was pretty surprised! The hyacinths performed well also.
