The carpet is nice but the installation wasn't completely like we were told. We were told that the floors would be repaired for their squeakiness. The installer told my husband that repairing the floor was extra and we didn't pay extra. They also put our furniture back in the wrong place. Overall, it was an okay experience but one that wasn't perfect.

Worth the Price for the Great Service We had a great experience with Dalton Carpet. Originally, we started to purchase flooring from Lowes/HomeDepot and hire an independent contractor, because we thought it would be less expensive. But we got such good service and a great deal from Dalton that we were pleased we went with them. Unfortunately, we didn't get the same quality of service the second time we hired them for a job. The contractors they sent to do the job, didn't have the same level of quality that the ones who did the first job did. If we have flooring work to do again we will look into specifying which craftsmen they send out to do the work.

Exceptional Experience Dalton Carpet One was a dream to work with. We just built our second house with their services. The designers really know their stuff and are so willing to go above and beyond. We always got a quick response on any questions. The installers worked quickly, but beautifully. We are so happy with our tile, carpet, and hardwood floors!

Good experience on short notice The consultant was excellent and accommodating, given we were coordinating replacing a waterbed mattress and carpet. They were able to do our install on short notice with our first choice of carpet. The installers did a great job on installing the carpet and moving furniture, except the headboard which should have been taken apart some, in not doing that the pieces torqued and broke the glass and scratched the wood. We knew the headboard was heavy and discussed its handling with the consultant, but the installers did not seem aware of that, having a third person along may have avoided this situation.

Dalton Carpet One Floor & Home in Athens, GA We had a great experience with Dalton Carpet. Angela Patton, the Flooring Consultant, guided us to the perfect flooring needs. The installers worked diligently, even through unexpected replacement of sub floor. Everyone was professional, including Alex, the delivery guy who made 3 trips to our home. Steve, the troubleshooter, was excellent also. We wished someone had caught that we had a particle board sub floor before installation began. It wouldn't have changed our selections but the added cost was a shock. Live and learn. We now know what our sub floors are in the rest of the house and we love our new, clean look!
