GBThe curtain is not effective The curtain does not performed as advertised. The noise reduction effect is minimum. Customer service did not follow up my questions until I emailed them the second time. Even then not all my concerns were addressed. The curtain can be functional as a blackout or thermal curtain, but not so much as an acoustic curtain.

GBCompletely blown away I was skeptical at first but boy, what a difference. I live in a 1920s house with older windows that let a lot of sound through. This curtain completely transformed my living room -- it's like being in a solitary bubble. A bonus that I didn't expect is that the curtain has thermal properties as well; it's helped to keep my room cooler in the Florida heat (not to mention blocking a lot of light!). It did take 2 weeks to receive my curtain, but it was totally worth it. The company was responsive to my emails too, which is nice.

GBIt just works...okay The ordering and delivery experience was excellent. As far as product functionality, I would not buy this curtain again. It is very cumbersome to roll up and down and already has started to curl at the bottom. It barely blocks low frequency noises at all (in fairness, this is explained, so I knew that ahead of time) but does provide a little bit of relief from other outside noises. If this product were $150 cheaper, I would say it's fine, but otherwise not worth the cost! It is excellent at blocking out sunlight though.

CADoes nothing vs train horns Purchased after reading a review on their website saying it was effective vs train noise. There is a train track a half mile away that hoots in the middle of the night. The curtains do not dampen that noise at all. They mildly dampen other noises, but do not do anything towards the reason I purchased them. I should have done more research on reviews before committing $700. Frankly, I feel like I've been scammed.

GBWorks Well Works well. Turns the volume down on outside noises (except low frequencies). Loud sounds become moderate. Moderate sounds become barely-audible. Quiet sounds become inaudible. My only complaint is the instructions it came with were misleading on how to connect the brackets to the bar. Maybe I got outdated instructions. I suggest that the company advertise more clearly the fact that it's made of EPA rather than PVC MLV. Standard MLV is made of PVC, which offgasses toxic fumes indefinitely. EVA does not. This product has a smell for a couple weeks - but at least it's a harmless smell.
