Completely blown away I was skeptical at first but boy, what a difference. I live in a 1920s house with older windows that let a lot of sound through. This curtain completely transformed my living room -- it's like being in a solitary bubble. A bonus that I didn't expect is that the curtain has thermal properties as well; it's helped to keep my room cooler in the Florida heat (not to mention blocking a lot of light!). It did take 2 weeks to receive my curtain, but it was totally worth it. The company was responsive to my emails too, which is nice.

Doesn’t work as advertised RA customer service is bad , tried calling for two weeks , nothing , emailed multiple times , nothing , once you pay for something it’s done , nobody will be willing to help , that will finally respond but that response is as good as nothing. As far as product goes , I agree it’s very well made , however it doesn’t work as advertised , I really don’t know how this can work after trying it out, I was really hoping it would but it doesn’t . I end up spending all together approx $500 and I can throw them out.

We needed a product that would help us… turn a den into a nursery We needed a product that would help us turn a den into a nursery for baby #2 by closing off an open doorway into the room to block light & sound but still allowing us to come in and out. After learning that other methods (sheetrock, accordian doors, etc) couldnt work, Residential Acoustics was able to create a large, custom fitted acoustic curtain that we could hang and slide open and closed as needed. The curtain does a great job keep light and sound out to keep the baby asleep while still allowing air to flow. The staff were super helpful in coming up with this creative solution to our problem and getting the product to us in time! Thanks Residential Acoustics!

Excellent product; works as advertised. Had a noise problem in my bedroom from adjacent highway traffic. Online advise and recommendations on how to order from the company were clear. Ordering process equally easy. Finished product arrived in a few days by parcel post. Installation presented no problems even for someone with limited handyman skills like me. Curtains look great and complements the looks of the room. Functionally they shut off probably 90% of outside noise. Don't have a sound meter but subjectively the results exceeded my expectations. It was great dealing with a company located in my own home town too.

The instructions were missing a few… The instructions were missing a few details like rotating the piece that holds the bar in place. The curtain makes absolutely zero difference in noise level. The magnetic strip is pulled off the wall by the weight of the curtain.
