CAThumbs down for a broken marketplace As a seller paying $155.88 USD a year to list my art here, I would recommend new artists stay clear from this website, at least for now. Society6 has a completely broken search function, and newly added artworks have not been visible on the marketplace for at least the last 5 months. If you have any newly added works, I recommend searching for them on the Society6 marketplace by your username, title and specific tags to see if you can find yours, especially if you have been considering signing up for a plan. It will give you an indication of what customers are not seeing. Further, go to any main navigation link on Society6 (backpacks, totes, mugs etc), and check the "new & trending" filter which supposedly would give you newly added items. Take a screenshot of what you see, and check back 1 - 2 weeks later. Heck, check back a month later like I did. I guarantee you'll see the same exact things there, in the same order as they were in your old screenshot. For this alone I would give it a 1 star, as there is simply no point signing up for this platform if your newly added work does not have a sliver of a chance of being found, even with meticulous keyword and description planning. Support brushes this issue off, saying that artists need to promote their works more, or just says their marketplace is struggling with the introduction of the artist plans and their website may "take a few days" to update. I'd say over 120 days has been more than a few. The fact that their advertised "analytics" page for the pro plan only works half the time, and doesn't actually give you any analytics at all and just tells you how many works you have sold over the last 90 days (which is a stat you can see without the analytics feature) is just the icing on the 1 star cake. I hope Society6 improves their website & will change this review if they do, but for now I would recommend giving the artist plans a hard pass.

JPFine when things are fine, not good when something comes up I've bought from them in the past a-ok, even had a second order along with the order in question. One of the two most recent orders never arrived, I wasn't able to follow up within what I learned was a 30 day window (I live abroad from where it was delivered and only visit twice a year) and they were not at all flexible or willing to discuss alternatives. Lost a customer 🤷♂️

DEPlease stay away from Society6 Stay away from Society6 and save yourself the time and nerves. I regret joining the platform altogether. Recently, as an artist, you can only upload 10 designs for free. You have to pay for additional designs. I've uploaded many designs over the past few years, put a lot of effort, love, and time into them, only to now be allowed to delete all designs except for 10. It's simply inhumane. Society6 maximally exploits you as an artist. I can only recommend everyone to stay away from it and NOT support this platform.

GBArtist Don't Sell! Absolute CON As an Artist it's a disgrace that Society 6 robs artists and takes more than half of your profit earnings. I had to increase the pricing of my prints so high just so I can get some benefit and earnings out of selling my work! I sold a print for £12 and I'm only recieving 49p... !!! It's a joke. This is because Society 6 has changed their policy so that artists must now pay a monthly fee to have just a small freedom to sell their own work. My advice - remove the middle man and sell your prints independently, don't rely on these online con artist art print sites, you also have no control of what the customer gets as in quality, I personally would want to see what my customers get and sign them personally. After my huge 49p clears up into my PayPal I will be deleting my account... Thanks for ripping me off Society 6 - More like society 666!! 👿

GBTerrible customer service Terrible customer service, poor quality control. I bought four coffee mugs, $25 each, and the handle fell off one after being just used a few times. Since it happened after my 30 days since having purchased, they declined to help me in anyway, or even apologize for the inconvenience. I’ve glued it back on, but really, $25 a mug and not even an apology. This is the worst customer service I can imagine. Save yourself. Never do business with them.
