As they warn, the paint goes from shiny to flat over time due to the sun and weather. I regret not giving the mailbox a coating of clear glossy paint once it started getting dull. Then the paint started to chip and expose raw metal - 13 years!! Still bought another. Love it!

We love our new mailbox We love our new mailbox. It actually replaced the same mailbox that was purchased 17 years ago. A mail carrier drove into it and needed to replace. We already getting a lot of attention in our neighborhood.

It is like a 1970's black and white version of some catalog. Second, once the wrong part arrives, I got to pay shipping to return it, and as an added bonus you only get like 70% of your money back!
