GBWe are very happy with our Revelite picture lights The person I called was very helpful. I did not want to make a mistake because these lights are quite expensive. But our electrician also knew how to install them for us. We could not connect the lights to an outlet because we did not want the electrician to crawl into our attic. Therefore, he made a small hole in the wall behind each picture and above the baseboard, fished the micro wire through the bottom holes and attached the transformers by each hole. Then he connected the transformer cords to a multi outlet strip plug-in that could reach the existing outlet. Our sofa along that wall covers up the transformers and electric cords. We use the strip switch to turn the lights on and off. We finally can enjoy both of our oil paintings in their entirety.

GBOrdered an Art light from Revelite… Ordered an Art light from Revelite which worked out perfectly for our large art piece. Their customer service was excellent - They emailed to verify if an additional power supply I placed on the order was something I really needed or meant to include, since the light already included one. After responding that I didn't need the 2nd power supply they promptly removed that from the order and issued a refund for the item. The Light arrived within the timeframe they provided and is just what we needed and hoped for it's a beautiful light for the art.

GBPhenomenal light Phenomenal light. Attaches easily and firmly to my studio Best easel’s main mast. Perfect for all types of mediums and is easy on the eyes for long sessions (>6hr). The dimming feature is handy when doing a low light study without creating gross color distortion. For an artist with a penchant for optical physics, this is well worth the investment. I also work in watercolor and would love to see Revelite create a version of this on a c-arm that I can extend over my tilting drafting table.

GBI’ve purchased these lights on at least… I’ve purchased these lights on at least four different occasions. If you measure correctly the light fills the frame with little spillover and produces a fantastic beam. What I don’t understand is why they don’t have a flat plug instead of the normal straight plugin. You will need to purchase a small extension cord with a flat plug or the included plug sticks into the back of your artwork.

GBI first saw the Revelite at John… I first saw the Revelite at John Cosby's studio. After struggling with lighting while I was painting indoors and waking up to some surprises, I finally decided it was time. It was a great decision and so unbelievably helpful when I'm working in my studio. Huge thanks for a great product that makes the process easier! And ultimately, isn't it all about light?
