About Government Auction

Established over 12 years ago as a clearinghouse for unimproved land, Government Auction is one of the largest and most reputable online surplus land auction companies in the United States. Having sold over 20,000 properties, Government Auction has established a solid track record and credibility in the online land auction marketplace as a top land auction site. Government Auction is not a governmental agency, but a private company that works closely with a variety of state agencies and other sources to find and purchase parcels of land in bulk. We buy raw land for investment, and real estate from state, county and city governments through foreclosures, tax lien sales, and surplus land and liquidation sales. Government Auction specializes in offering real estate to a variety of properties that fit the needs of novice, first-time buyers, experienced land investors and corporate clients through auctions. In fact, most of our buyers are simply people wanting to make a solid investment in buying vacant land or land for sale by owner.Browse and bid on hundreds of government land for sale properties today.

Not sure about this site I'm working with Tim Richardson on a land bid that I won. I just received the DocuSign agreement. Looking over it, I'm noticing that there are finance charges, something that the website said they wouldn't do. I'm confused. The land is very raw and there are no roads that lead directly to it besides a nearby highway. The document states that my final payment will include taxes and road maintenance fees. That could be any crazy amount. The price is not concrete unless I pay upfront. I'll be going over this with my lawyer and I'll return to this review once I've completed the transaction... or not.

Had a pretty good experience with this… Had a pretty good experience with this firm. The invoicing was prompt and with no muss or fuss. There was some issue with where the items were to be shipped -- I had wanted a third party address, but I got a call explaining what was going on, so that ended up being not an issue. And it did show care and follow-through, which was important.

Joseph Richardson is one of the most… Joseph Richardson is one of the most pleasant individual that’s pleasant, patient, professional, courteous and is willing to go out of his ways just to make sure that we are satisfied with our decision. Absolutely, no pressure at all. He makes sure we understand what’s on the contract and how to better understand what we’re signing. If I can give 10 stars on this review, I absolutely would. You’ll be very happy working with him. This site is NOT a scam!!! Please don’t take my word for it, just try it out and see for yourself. Thank you for taking your time to read my review. May God bless you!
