GBGood for selling Good for selling, not so good for buying. Photos aren't the same as seeing an item in the flesh and having ordered a couple of things that, whilst, were good labels, the items were very worn, despite the seller saying they were in very good condition. Think there's some okay stuff on Vinted but an awful lot of rubbish. I wouldn't buy again unless something was new with tags. The only other weird thing is the sizing chart. No way is a 12 large....

GBThe Wild West of online selling The Wild west of online selling. A minefield for buyers. Lots and I mean lots of sellers dumping stained, shrunken or damaged clothing claiming in good condition & then sellers expected to pay return postage despite this. Loads of scammers. A very high proportion compared to eBay. Got scammed twice in short succession. On top of that most sellers are very flaky and don't reply to messages. How do i know if its going to fit without measurement's grrrr and then there's all the stuff that is just left listed whilst sellers go awol. Cranky platform often slows to a crawl on the phone app and some strange mechanics. I actually got temporally suspended for posting 3 mssgs too quickly. Very poor system for registering problems and complaints with very few options to choose, so some common issues can't be directly dealt with. My worst online experience with anything...terrible but if you can weather all that there are some great bargains. Not for the faint hearted.

GBI find Vinted to be a reliable platform… I find Vinted to be a reliable platform for selling. It's simple and quick to sell items that I love, and I appreciate the fact that there are no additional fees like on other selling sites.

GB*BUYERS BEWARE* Unfortunately, all the reviews stating that the platform is great for sellers, but does not look after buyers has been my experience (and that of others I know). I had the wrong item sent to me, seller was apologetic and agreed to send the correct item once they’d received my return. Instead, they refunded and (with no explanation) blocked me. All of our communications had been pleasant and there was no reason for this, except I suppose to avoid the risk of my leaving a less than 5* review. My sister had a similar experience, buying a “100% cashmere” jumper that turned out to be a cashmere/wool blend and full of holes. She returned the jumper at her expense and, having had a full refund, was then not permitted to leave feedback. So, Vinted’s 5* sellers are often not 5* at all. And Vinted don’t seem to look after the interests of buyers at all. BEWARE! I won’t be shopping on Vinted anymore, unless they start offering buyers more protection and making dodgy sellers accountable. I am heading back to eBay.

PThow to get my money back? there was some problem with the buyer, she told me she had sent my order almost a week ago though the information on the app told me she had yet to send it to me. she told me there was a problem with the tracking system and both of us reported the situation to vinted, who proceeded to suspend the order. they’re saying they’re trying to speak with the delivery company, and to wait for more news meanwhile they haven’t returned my money yet, i don’t know how they’re going to resolve this issue and what is true or not.
