Customer service is lacking Customer service is lacking, to say the least. I purchased a torch lamp less than a year ago and the button fell off. After several attempts at calling, without successfully getting through to anyone, I emailed. After an initial response, they have gone radio silent. Capitol Lighting has always been my lighting store of choice, but now I would hesitate to purchase from them again.

Great selection of items and Pamela was… Great selection of items and Pamela was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I will be shipping here again when I need more lighting.

Very poor follow-up customer service Purchased a hanging fixture from salesperson Barton Cross at Capitol Lighting in Eatontown. All was great until there was a problem. Barton either lied to us or failed to admit his mistake in ordering our fixture. He specifically told me the fixture would come with led bulbs, and when it did not and I asked him to correct it, his flippant reply was I should come back to his store and buy them. He refused to accept any responsibility or make any accommodation. I will never buy there again, and recommend you get every detail in writing from this guy if you do.

Ray - Kelly - Tiffany Ray was extremely knowledgeable and I was able to place my order (3 items) within 5-10mn. Kelly and Tiffany in customer service were so helpful and efficient. It is now my 3rd order with Capitol-lighting and my parents have place many orders - it is definitely the place to purchase light fixtures: great selection, very competitive prices, orders arrive promptly and they are very well packaged so all together a great experience and such nice additions for a home or business.

Great customer Service in addition to price I have used Capitol Lighting for many fixtures in 5 major renovation projects over the past 3 years. It is not unusual to receive damage products or have issues with a faulty product (especially the more advanced dimmable LED fixtures). What o appreciate when buying through Capitol is they are quick in coordinating a resolution and good at communicating the resolution plan in a timely manner. I usually get better pricing through Capitol, but it is the customer service I appreciate most. TJ
