GBGreat customer Service in addition to price I have used Capitol Lighting for many fixtures in 5 major renovation projects over the past 3 years. It is not unusual to receive damage products or have issues with a faulty product (especially the more advanced dimmable LED fixtures). What o appreciate when buying through Capitol is they are quick in coordinating a resolution and good at communicating the resolution plan in a timely manner. I usually get better pricing through Capitol, but it is the customer service I appreciate most. TJ

GBWhen ordering I was trying to get a… When ordering I was trying to get a fast shipping method, I got on a chat to confirm if the item would go out on time and still the person could not tell me. I had to roll the dice and it didn’t not leave the warehouse in time.

GBI have been dealing with the store in… I have been dealing with the store in Stuart Florida and in particular the customer service rep Kaitlin Booe. From day one since Sept. 2022 I have received numerous fixtures I did not order. Kaitlin does not return e mails since for two months she could not get the order correct. It seems they are unable to look at the paid sales order ticket and ship the customer what they paid for and ordered.

GBVery poor follow-up customer service Purchased a hanging fixture from salesperson Barton Cross at Capitol Lighting in Eatontown. All was great until there was a problem. Barton either lied to us or failed to admit his mistake in ordering our fixture. He specifically told me the fixture would come with led bulbs, and when it did not and I asked him to correct it, his flippant reply was I should come back to his store and buy them. He refused to accept any responsibility or make any accommodation. I will never buy there again, and recommend you get every detail in writing from this guy if you do.

GBDeceptive return info They deceptively write "Easy Returns" on all product pages & through checkout, but what they don't tell you is that this is a sleazy button that when clicked provides "fine print" if it can be returned. The item-specific information is clearly hidden away on purpose, instead of being in the listing. I found out the hard way trying to return a lamp that was the wrong size. When they finally accepted the return, it took 3 weeks after their receipt of the item to refund my money!
