Unfortunately I didn't do my homework… Unfortunately I didn't do my homework on this company and learned my lesson the hard way. This is a scam company. The light we received is of poor quality, not to US safety standards and a huge fire risk. The company disguises the fact that they're not based in the US, and then informs you that you're responsible for any return shipping to China. They offer a partial refund for you to keep the item -- which I'm guessing is their business model as they'd still turn a profit on these cheaply constructed products. Don't make the same mistake I did!

Never order anything from this company I would give this company zero stars if I could. I waited 6 weeks for a ceiling light to arrive. When it showed up this $250 light was missing pieces, falling apart, with no instructions, and was clearly cheaply made. I had a certified electrician confirm the thing is a cheap piece of crap and wouldn't work. Throughout this the company was unresponsive and when I told them I wanted to file a claim for a return they responded with the polite version of "sod off."

My husband is an electrician...we installed a ceiling light purchased from this site and within an hour of it being on, it started smoking, and caught on fire. The transformer was black. Thank goodness we were home. Customer service is horrible which I expected after the fact, don't waste your time buying from Bulb Square. I ordered a desk lamp in November 23… I ordered a desk lamp in November 23 and have sent many emails to find out when it will arrive. Like many other customers, this company make the excuse of shipping delays.. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. They take your money but do not deliver. IF I were to ever receive this item, have requested to return, especially after reading reviews from customers saying that after a very long wait for their product, they arrive faulty and of poor quality.
