GBThey cater to you with exceptional… They cater to you with exceptional customer service with affordable charges and make you move swiftly, also they were not just more in number but also heavy and hard to move. My house was upside down when they arrived, and they first collected it all and then started packing which was not part of their work.

GBAbsolutely reliable!! Amazing Movers. I have used their moving services on multiple occasions throughout the years. The moves were incredibly helpful and quick to respond as they moved my possessions. Out of this world-five stars! I strongly suggest it!

GBI hired Safeway because I have a… I hired Safeway because I have a military family, and they are veteran-owned. What a mistake. From the start, there was deception. I was quoted a price of around $7000 for my move, which cost me $11,000. At the same time, the move out of my place in Boston seemed professional and smooth. When I picked a delivery window (3 days) months in advance, my furniture was nowhere to be seen. I called and called and got no legitimate answer, and then I got no answer. None whatsoever. I just stopped calling after I moved into my new place, and a Safeway representative told me to live on an air mattress. They are deceiving and dishonest. Almost one month after my delivery date, I got a call saying my furniture was coming the next day, with no notice. My furniture arrived broken. 13 pieces of furniture were broken, and I am in the dark. No one cares; there is no management. Please stay away if you want to see your belongings on the other end. They should be out of business, and more people must write about this terrible company.

GBSCAMMED ME OUT OF $12,989.68 SCAMMED ME OUT OF $12,989.68, BROKE/THEIR OWN REP SAID THIS WAS THE WORST HE’S EVER SEEN/DESTROYED MY THINGS/REPORTED THEM FOR CHARGES I’m disabled and needed assistance with packing and moving. Safeway gave me a binding quote of $23,480 to pack and move me then refused to load the last load (items that were already on my inventory list) into the truck unless I agreed to pay them $36,469.68 instead. When I tried to get out of the contract and get my $4,000 deposit back they said that they wouldn’t give it back to me because it was under 72 hours before they were supposed to come pack me – but they called me 48 hours before so that I wouldn’t be able to get my $4,000 back & when it would be almost impossible (especially with $4,000 less money) to find someone else to move me. They said I had more inventory than they anticipated even though they did a video call and they said the video call was sufficient to know what I have. It’s Safeway’s job, not mine, to give an accurate quote. Safeway told me that unless I agreed to pay them almost $13,000 more they would not release my things to me. Safeway also said that after 45 days of free storage I would pay $1,227 a month - then they charged me $2,306. Safeway gave me the wrong wire information and their bank ended up charging me for it. By law Safeway had to let me know where my things were being held and they would never tell me where my things were being kept. Safeway also sent me pictures of someone else’s things in their inventory and tried to say it was mine. They also came to pack me with one 18 wheeler and two 26 foot box trucks but when they drove from Florida to Oregon with my things they only showed up with one 18 wheeler. They also gave me someone else’s things that I had to give back to them. Numerous items in boxes were also either mislabeled or not labeled at all and several things that were supposed to be together were scattered in numerous and various mislabeled boxes. Safeway broke and/or destroyed/are missing so many things of mine that I’m literally making a list.Every day I find something else broken, etc.

GBIncompetent and dishonest company. I paid a premium for professional packing, but Safeway sent movers who packed so poorly and handled the boxes so roughly that some arrived visibly crushed, others with holes so the contents actually protruded. They destroyed all manner of contents, much of it irreplacable (family heirloom china, crystal, handmade pottery, etc.). My turntable was crushed, glass frames broken, a baking dish shattered beyond recognition, a leg torn off from a small antique table, and this does not nearly include the complete extent of the destruction and losses. The driver who made the final delivery was so horrified by the condition of the boxes ,that he took his own photos to submit to the company, telling me that he knew from the paperwork that Safeway had sent an inexperienced crew to pack. But that did not stop him from calling me from the road the day before the delivery, which after more than 3 weeks was already unconscionably late, to tell me I'd owe hundreds more if I wanted my delivery the following day because a "shuttle" transfer was required. Cash only. A complete stick up. When I called the representative who did the original estimate and had known where I was moving to, he actually laughed. Do not be taken in by a friendly and low cost assessment. I have since found out that I am not the only client to report this kind of experience with Safeway. I will be reporting them to the State Attorney General because they have not responded to any of my requests for reparations, and they have been and will continue to treat other clients just as dishonestly. Run. You can and must do better than this.
