Horrible fake moving company Quick edit after seeing IVL reply, I am trying to add a pic of my Bill of Lading but it is not allowing it. I guarantee this experience is real and I am real and IVL definitely knows exactly who I am. Their only response is to lie and pretend this is a fake review. That is very telling as to their deceitful practices. Horrible fake moving company. These reviews are likely as fake as their binding quote. Seriously run far away from this company. They are not movers, they are brokers. They give a low ball quote without ever even trying to do a video walk thru of your home. They led me to believe my items would be delivered in 3-4 days. It took over 30 days. They stopped loading the truck and demanded almost $3,000 more for “bulky” items. Items they had received pictures of. When I called to find out where my stuff was they had moved it 3 hours in the opposite direction into a storage unit in the desert. They had no idea when it would be delivered. The last time I called (they won’t call you) and was told my stuff was on the move they still had no idea where it was or when it might arrive. When it did arrive the driver had no helpers so we got to unload the entire truck ourselves. Customer service was a joke and I am sure he will write a note here about how sorry they are. They did not seem sorry when I told them we were living in an empty house, no beds, no furniture, no refrigerator, nothing to cook with and they had all my husband’s tools. He had no way to work. This is scumbag company that took over $13k from us, only to force us to spend more money buying things we already owned and rendering us unable to earn income until they delivered our stuff with damage and we had to unload the truck. Disgusting company, run away.

Stay clear of this business Stay clear of this business – at all costs! Locked in move in Feb for April 2024 move. Very tight schedule and little room for error. Paid $1600 deposit Everything seemed professionally handled – so far. I’d done my online research. Boy, was I wrong! Got late Friday afternoon phone call one week prior to move and was told that they canceled the move. Couldn’t pull it off and had no trucks in my area. Got a “we’re sorry” and a promise of my deposit back. I’m now totally screwed and scrambling to find another company on short notice and likely at a higher price point for me. They were happy to promise the moon and keep my money for 2 months and then cancel and leave me in a HUGE pickle Never had less professional service. A disgrace, really. I implore you to stay clear of this company for your own sake

Positive Outcome My experience with IVL was very different than the experience I had with a moving broker years back. I was unaware that most moving brokers scam customers, and they got me. We chose IVl because they're a carrier and own and operate their trucks and movers. Additionally, I needed insurance for a high amount, and IVL could offer insurance at a reasonable cost. The move ended up going well. IVL's team showed up on the planned date, packed everything as promised, and my delivery was also performed well. All I was looking for was a good moving experience, and I found it with IVL, so they got 5 stars from me.

Straightforward & Efficient Had to relocate a state over for a better work opportunity and cut down on the cumulative expenses of the daily commute had I stayed where I was residing at. Looked up and went with International Van Lines because I had a couple items that couldn't fit altogether in my nor my friends' cars and didn't want to leave them only to repurchase something similar once at the new spot. Called them up, set the move date, they showed up in hearty spirits and got the materials down in an efficient amount of time. About an hour and fifteen minute drive out, nothing was damaged or knocked over, weather cooperated with us and the traffic was average. Appreciate everyone's work on the team, made the process much easier had I resolved with taking smaller trips back and forth, at the additional expense of having to leave or sell the other items incapable of fitting.

Operates in bad faith Trusted IVL to move our house hold goods from Louisiana to England. This company has terrible customer service annd communication. Wasn’t informed when my shipment left the port. Had to call multiple times to find out that the shipment didn’t make its original date and had been pushed back. We were not informed of possible port fees until shipment was already underway. The fees were almost hidden in the email after the signature block. After our shipment had cleared customs the contracted company could not reach our shipment until 4 days after causing us to incur extra port charges. Will have to pay almost $1000 extra in port and extra equipment fees after paying $11,000 for the move itself. Do not use this company
