USDon't trust them with your valuables Don't trust them with your valuables! My elderly aunt hired Metro Van Lines to ship rare, valuable furniture to me two states away. MVL assured her they would carefully disassemble and reassemble these pieces at each site. One piece was an antique piano. Upon arriving at my home, two movers were not up to the task. One reeked of pot. They did not even know what cargo they had and were not able to reassemble it. They left the furniture in pieces in the middle of my house. The piano was dropped because the two men couldn't handle the piece. Efforts to contact the home office were not successful. A complaint to Better Bureau Business elicited no response. Unsurprisingly, this company is not registered with BBB. This is simply not an accountable company. It has absolutely no business caring for your valuables.

Dispatch was in constant contact regarding the delivery and updating me on where my items were. I am recommending this company!

USHorrible Horrible. Got a $ quote, paid a % of that. Then a month later an amended $ quote, paid a % of that totaling almost $3,000. Then, just prior to pickup they wanted balance paid. This I refused. They refused to supply refund and my CC company sided with them. This disabled vet cannot afford losses like that.

USMetro was in contact with me until the… Metro was in contact with me until the movers didn’t show up. Not only was the estimate I was given and the actual cost of my move doubled, The movers assigned didn’t show up on the designated day. That’s when no one from Metro could be located. The company was closed on Thursday & Friday; even dispatch couldn’t be located for help. When the movers showed up (late) the next day, they added 200 SF to the load without measuring. What good was Metro’s SF if it’s wrong? It’s a horrible company. Do not believe the “reviews”!
