GBDONT USE CROSS NATION OR CAREFREE Three days before moving we received our “final count call” we counted absolutely everything and we were told that what we had put us over it would be $1500 more. We advised we did not have that and asked if we could get our $ back. We were told it was “too late in the game” So we asked what we could do to keep it the same price. We were told to take all the Totes off and it would be fine. We did that and moved them to another room so there was no confusion. At noon on 5/20 the “Movers” showed up. They took video of everything we had and then sat in their truck for THREE hours. I called Cross Nation, I called Carefree and finally I was told that we had 715 feet instead of the 535 we booked with Cross Nation. We did not understand how that could be since we gave an EXACT count of everything in our house that was to be moved and we had subsequently taken several items off the “original” quote. After back and forth with them I told them to take the 535 as we originally agreed as we have NO more $. So they took TWO mattresses and maybe 12 boxes. I have 2/3rds of my house which in their opinion was 180 sq feet over. There is no way. We were asked by BOTH cross nation and carefree when we wanted our stuff delivered. We told BOTH companies Saturday 5/21. Saturday came and went, Sunday came I called and called finally about 1:30pm I got ahold of Anthony a “Supervisor at Carefree” He told me he would reach out to dispatch and call me hopefully in the next 30 min. 1hr 15 min went by I called Anthony back he said for me to Hold he was calling dispatch I was on hold for 23 minutes. He came back on the phone with NO update. He gave me an email address to file a claim and told me to “give it a few days” Today is Monday. I am home with two autistic children and one developmentally delayed. They have No beds, no comfort items, no clothes. But I am supposed to email a complaint and give it a few more days.

GBThe original estimate was very low and we had to pay 4x the amount at the last minute. The original estimate was very low...the representative asked me to estimate the size of the move - a typical 2-bedroom apartment which has a range of cubic footage which she should have known. So the actual cost was nearly 4x the amount of the original estimate. They wait until the last week before the move to re-do the estimate and then it was still low so we had to hustle to come up with an additional cash amount as the actual movers won't take credit. This company does not do the moves and contracts...the contractor was excellent but could do nothing about the cost.

GBCrossnation relocation refused to… Crossnation relocation refused to refund my money after the movers failed to move my belongings from one state to another. Do not do business with these people, they are a complete scam. It was a horrible experience, do not trust these people.

GBI had a fantastic experience working… I had a fantastic experience working with Crossnation Relocation. The initial salesman accurately estimated the team size and time required based on a thorough assessment of the move's scope. They tailored the pricing to my needs.

GBThey are not responsive after they take your $$ They are a broker and are responsible for coordinating your move. However all they r doing is taking money and asking movers to come to u. The movers do not arrive on the scheduled days. Crossnation uses outside companies to collect money so in the bank it is under Celtic 75 Consulting and their rep shows his face as a debt collector on linkedin. Crossnation did not help me with the arrival of my goods as their contract promised. This is a fraud company or merely a place for a scam. They do not assist you with moves. They dont come to tour house to count goods either. They take payment after payment then disappear. We all reported them.
