GBThis company is a complete and total… This company is a complete and total fraud, they are associated with Four Seasons Moving a company based out of Florida that has an huge amount of US Department of Transportation violations for loosing customer material, credit card fraud, insurance scams and not being licensed and bonded. They are know for quoting one price and then trumping up charges after they have your items. Additionally, they subcontract you items out to random Russians that with load your items with any transportable materials. This company is a TOTAL SHAM... DO NOT USE this COMPANY they are HORRIBLE....

GBRyder is strictly a broker of moving… Ryder is strictly a broker of moving goods. Do not use them, get 3 quotes from reputable movers and decide. Just don't decide on Ryder Solutions. Your total moving cost will go up 100%. This is a scam they use to get your upfront fee only to find out the contracted driver and movers will charge exponentially more than Ryder Solutions communicated. Don't fall for the estimate price and don't fall for Ryder Solutions and their business model...it will cost you!!!

GBGood service! When reviewing a company I normally try and balance praise with criticism as I feel it is fair and also helps a team better itself. In this case though I cannot think of anything to improve in. This company kept me updated along the whole way and the delivery team were outstanding in both their job as well as being very friendly and helpful. I truly cannot think of something to improve on.

GBscammed a widow “ I had a moving company come to our house in Conway and give me an estimate to move us in the middle of January. They were going to charge $9,600 to pack our entire house and move us to a storage unit in Statesville that I would’ve had to pay for separately. We found a better deal with Ryder Relocations-$5,973.21 to move our things and 30 free days of storage. Mind you, I was in a bind with Cam being transferred to Hospice and wanted to be in NC to be closer to him, so I had an aunt come pack mh entire house and another aunt and uncle deal and who were gonna take care of the expense part of the moving company. Ryder was supposed to come take an inventory of our house on Saturday, February 10th and move all the stuff on the 11th. I had gone over our house inventory with THREE separate people at Ryder, so I assumed all was good for the move. When they arrived, it was a third party company (Sal’s Moving Company out of Durham) who was subcontracted out by Ryder. My neighbor let them in because Wylder and I were back in NC and they had her sign the contract paperwork for the agreed price before they entered our house. Long story short, they didn’t bring a big enough moving truck for all of our stuff because someone at Ryder hadn’t calculated the cubic feet correctly. Come Sunday, when the second part of the payment needed to be paid, nobody contacted me, my aunt or uncle. Monday rolls around and somehow our price had gone from $5,973 to $17,000 that they were claiming we had to pay (cue the jaw drop). Everyone, including “management” gave us the run around and told us that was the final price because they claimed we had way more stuff than was stated when going over the inventory, which was obviously false because myself, my aunt who packed our house, my uncle and cousin who picked up our dogs and Cam’s trucks the day before the moving company came, had all been in our house and agreed there was no way we had the amount of stuff they were stating. Side note, I was under contract on a house in Statesville and when Cam passed away, I had to retract my offer for several reasons. I didn’t take that too hard because it obviously wasn’t meant to be. But the plan was to close on the house and have our stuff back before the free 30 days of storage was up. Fast forward to today. I still haven’t gotten our stuff back because my aunt and uncle and myself, refused to pay that ridiculous price when a contract wasn’t signed for that price. I had to hire an attorney a few weeks ago because Ryder was threatening to put our stuff up for auction by April 10th if we didn’t pay the $17,000. Ryder, nor Sal’s will disclose the location of our stuff, so I have no clue where our things even are, or if they even still have them. I ended up signing a lease on a rental house to move in April 1st, with hopes I might have our things back by then and that my court case would be settled, but it has not been. I am now paying for a rental that I can’t move into because I have nothing to move.” -A friend of mine who recently lost her husband As a CPA, I’m going to do everything I can to have this company audited because this is absolutely immoral and illegal. I will also be helping with this lawsuit and auditing process.
