GBI asked for 2 trucks I asked for 2 trucks. Many things the main driver told me weren't true. He and a young guy drank all the beer and wine coolers. They left things and furniture inside the house so I had to rent the biggest uhal trailer and also a large Hertz van. The payment for mover and driver alone 600. The furniture is in wrong room and not put together like it was in house

GBDO NOT USE Was supposedly family run..They had advance notice of my move date and still gave the excuse that the truck hadn't arrived to pick up my things. Then, they told me with a days notice that my things were being delivered. They only sent one guy. I told him I would pay him once everything was moved into my apartment. He was nasty and said "wouldn't everyone like that". He was a contractor, had all my things piled at the end of the truck. I had a beautiful wicker container that was crushed along with a new floor lamp that was destroyed. He charged me for all steps even though they said they wouldn't charge for 7. I had 8 steps coming into the condo building and then another 8 to my door. I had a hydro rowing machine that he couldn't move by himself and I ended up lifting one end and carried it up with him into the apartment AND I was charged for the steps.. I called the company to report and they basically gave me the cold shoulder and told me to file a claim and they couldn't do anything about me helping the mover since he was a contractor. I would NOT recommend using this company!!

GBTHEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU! Used this company for a long-distance move, including 1-month storage. Multiple items never showed up, including expensive adult bicycle. When I contacted customer service and suggested things had been stolen, they said that was not possible, and they had been "lost" or "delivered to wrong customer". How do you lose a bicycle? And, you are professional movers, how do things get delivered to wrong customer? That's why there are inventory lists and stickers on every item, identifying the customer. They are either very incompetent or very dishonest. Thousands of dollars worth of our items just disappeared. And many of the boxes that did arrive had been opened and clearly rummaged through, then carelessly repacked. I was told the storage facility was secure with limited access, but that doesn't seem to be the case. They will also LIE to you and say they only use their own trucks and employees, not contractors. Every crew that showed up to move us told us they were independent contractors. That leaves very little accountability when things go wrong. I know I am not the only one with this experience. Check reviews and BBB complaints. And during the initial pickup, the crew leader got a phone call from the office, they were trying to figure out how items went to the wrong customer on a previous move. This is all in addition to damaged boxes and broken items that actually did show up, even though clearly marked "fragile". I have used movers multiple times in different parts of the country, and this company is the absolute worst. Save yourself lots of frustration and headaches and just use someone else.

GBDO NOT BOOK THIS MOVER! Watch out for the Bait & Switch! Company does not provide an accurate estimate, purposely lowballing the price so you sign, to then increase the rates two days prior, when you have no other options. The cost of my move more than doubled. They then shook me down 3 more times in the process of moving- once at the end of pick up, saying I took up more space on their truck, after I paid for the full truck, then later that night, after I paid, saying they made a mistake and said I owed more. I refused. Then again, trying to charge me a second time, for the same bulky fee charge I already paid in the contract. They damaged the house I moved out of, most of my furniture, damaged many of my boxes. Their third party insurance claimed they sent a settlement offer but didn't. And then in the end, closed the claim without ever paying for the damaged. What they did is criminal and I now have to take legal action.
