Believe the bad reviews about this… Believe the bad reviews about this company. They lowball, charge $1000.00 to "guarantee" that price, then send some un-vetted 3rd party mover to your house (that, if you look THEM up, you wouldn't let move your toilet) who then proceeds to charge an exhorbinant amount over the "guaranteed" price. They take your deposit as a picture of your check over the phone then fraudulently print a hard copy check on their end to deposit to their bank effectively cutting you off from any restitution for services not provided. And of course they refuse to refund your deposit even though they do not uphold their end of the "contract" Everything about them is unethical.

Moving Company Woes I definitely agree with many others that have left bad reviews about this company. They are a broker who “low balls” an estimate to get you to sign a contract, which is supposedly a fixed cost deal. However, on the day of your pickup, when the folks responsible for packing and loading your stuff show up, you are informed that you will have to pay substantially more due to the size of your load. And 50% must be paid immediately IN CASH before they will start loading. The other half will have to be paid IN CASH upon delivery. For me, I had no choice but to press forward - if I cancelled out of the deal I would forfeit the substantial deposit I had already paid, of course - per the contract. I was prepared to pay $600 on each end but that ended up being $1500. How do you get $900 more in cash after 5 PM on a Friday night, with daily ATM limits, etc… Worse yet, they wanted to deliver on the following Monday, when I wouldn’t even be on site yet. I specified Tuesday or later from the very beginning on all the documentation they required me to fill out. To top it off, Monday was a Federal holiday so how could I could get $1500 in cash from a bank or USPS in order for them to be willing to unload the truck. I wanted to use a credit card at pickup so I could swallow this more easily and preserve my cash for the delivery. They wouldn’t let me do that, even though the documents I signed said that I could. The truck they showed up with was not quite big enough so I still had more stuff to move - that forced me to schedule a UBox to be delivered and packed on Sunday, costing me an additional $1100. One expensive and painful ordeal, for sure - started at $2200 but ended about $5000. The rest of the story is that the truck so carefully packed at pickup (no complaints against them) was unloaded and transferred to a larger moving truck (ironically, which would have been plenty of room for my “extra” stuff). When it arrived some of my stuff was damaged and missing, most definitely during this transition. I am now following up on this disaster and hoping to help others avoid a similar tragedy. If all moving companies conduct themselves in similar fashion, they should ALL be put out of business for predatory and deceptive business practices. Warning - Do your homework before hiring any movers!

Expensive and Deceptive Expensive, deceptive. The company was very responsive and accomadating until the move date. While our driver was nice, my quote went up by over $2000. Of course you can't have your stuff until you pay. I didn't have the extra money in cash (they only deal in cash or Venmo RED FLAG). So, I paid through venmo using my card. I had an issue with Venmo trying to take the money from my bank account and had $70 in fees. Reached out to the company for help and they don't even have the courtesy to respond. They get your money and screw you. The BBB rating was terrible and states they are not sure this company is even licensed. I wish I had done more research as this company has horrible comments and ratings.

Beware of AEY Logistics!!! Beware of AEY Logistics!!! I recommend a very detailed research about this company before contracting them so you don't have the same bad and terrible experience we had with them. We feel we were scammed. It is our personal experience, it doesn't mean it will be your experience too. But my advice is simple: Beware! AEY, they are brokers, so they are a third party company that acts as a moving coordinator between you and the moving company (the actual carrier). That's ok. BUT, in our experience with AEY, this company, they give you a quote with a much lower price than the price they know the actual movers (carrier company) will charge you. How they do it? You provide them a list of your inventory items and they give you a quote where the price is based on the cubic feets that your stuff would occupy on the truck. They underestimate the cubic feets so the price shown would be much less that the actual real price you'll get when the movers, on the actual moving date, verify the quote. In this way they get the business from you because they are "offering" a "very competitive price" and the price appears to be lower than other companies!!! But is not!!!! In our case, they estimated 528 cubic feets when the real cubic feets were 800. Original estimate was $2,618 and the real price was $3,978. $1,360 more than the original price. And our stuff (only 50 items) were mostly boxes and we provided them the actual exact measures weeks before the moving date. And this situation is incredible because I sent an email to Dan, the salesperson, asking if the quote could change during carrier pickup and he answered the email saying that "the only way the quote could change is if you add or eliminate items from the inventory". And we didn't do any changes. And 2 weeks before the moving date Tommy from Quality Assurance called us and we sent him an email with our inventory and final count of boxes. Tommy said they do the QA to assure they separate the needed space on the truck and "avoid you extra charges". OMG, Dan and Tommy! In our personal experience with this company AEY Logistics, if you need a solution for a situation like this, they will avoid you and they will not be answering your calls or providing a solution. I asked to talk with the Customer Service supervisor, they told me it was Jeff. He could not help. I asked for his supervisor. He said that the supervisor was Edwin. But when I spoke with Edwin he said that he was the Operations Manager and that he was going to provide a solution because he was the decision maker in the company. Then, when Edwin disappeared after told me he was going to call me next day, I spoke with Olivia and she said that Jeff was not the Customer Service supervisor (I should have known that!, he was supposed to be the Customer sservice manager, you know customer service skills!, but Olivia said he was someone from Dispatch. I'm also confused because in a business social network said that the Operations Manager is Steve Shelly and not Edwin. And Edwin identified Mr. Shelly as the owner. So, I tried to contact the owner thru that business social network but he didn't answer. I would never recommend this "company" to anybody. In my experience, once they get the business, they disappear. 0 stars to Sales, 0 stars to Customer Service, 0 stars to Quality Assurance and 0 stars to Operations.

Worst move of my life!! Just wanna let you know this is the worst move of my life. I had no clue you were a “broker” & that the Guys who showed up actually work for a different company. Today had been awful. I’m not sure how you live with yourself. Your company took $2500 from me which was wayyy more than any other company needed but I assumed that was to make today the most stress less move of my life. I feel swindled by you & your company. I’ve been left alone all day with no help. THIS IS NOT A MOVING COMPANY BUT A BROKER. YOY WILL PAY THEM BUT THEN ANOTHER MOVING COMPANY WILL SHOW UP & UPCHARGE YOU! DO NOT TRUST AEY!
