GBI signed a contract with American Elite… I signed a contract with American Elite movers on 9/29/21. I could have chosen any movers, but I went with this company. They have in the contract, for the distance I was moving, a delivery of 7-21 days. Upon the very last day possible that I have to be out of my residence, is when the movers arrived to load me up. The movers had a completely different contract, asked for quite a bit more money. At this point, I have no option but to go with this very shady company. The new delivery date says a delivery of 40 days. It's been beyond 21 days, the customer service rep is difficult to get on the phone, when asked when is the delivery, they have no information. No idea when it will be loaded on a truck, no idea when there will be a driver, nothing. They REFUSE to allow a supervisor to be on the phone. Horrible horrible service, I suspect that these people are crooks!

GBTook my $1200 and ran Took my $1200 and ran. They blew off the Quality Check call, the assigned trucking company had no record of my move, they never called back and it appears I’ve lost my money. The sales guy (Peter Friedman) was super responsive—told me he is on 24/7… right until my deposit cleared. Then silence. No words to describe how humiliating this was.(and to AEM customer service—please don’t patronize me by telling me to call your service line to resolve, I’ve called a hundred times with no response. You can call me. )

GBDon’t use Don’t use. After having initial frequent communication to sell me on using this company, once signed, Communication became abysmal. They broker out the job to another Company Called RoadRunner which is even worse.Horrible horrible horrible experience with roadrunner. Yet I signed with American elite so when I called them to discuss my concerns there is no accountability. I ended up being charged over $2000 more than the estimate. Items were delayed, items were broken. Items never showed up.

GBI went back to cancel my move and was… I went back to cancel my move and was told that I forfeit 855.00 because I canceled in five days rather than 3 stipulated in the contract. It was never told to me that that was even a possibility. My job fell through and I was not moving. They could have kept a portion of it for the actual time a was on the phone with them. They did not mention it once but it was in their lengthy contract. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
