needed a water heater then got a $61,176 dollar debt My experience with Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical Services was horrible. $61,176 dollar debt after 3 days of work on my small home. called them out for a failed water heater 12-9-2021 after i went to work they upsold my wife into things i did not need. i have lived in the same house since 1999 and i knew exactly what was wrong with it. i only needed one water heater thats all. but they make up a bunch of stuff that they never one time discussed or explained to me in a professional manner at all. we trusted them and i honestly thought they were there to help me. not even close. 12-10-2021 the work was started 12-13-2021 all the work i did not need was done. 12-14-2021 we get two thick envelopes in thr mail. total amount $61,176 dollars. $38000 was their price for all the work i did not need and they recieved that from two out of state finance companies.. here is what i got from trusting them.after paying off my mortgage two weeks before which i regret telling them i owed $25000 14.99% interest with a $28000 finance charge (10yrs of payments) and $13,875 at 10% interest. i went from feeling great that i finally payed off my mortgage to shock and horror. i felt taken and a fool. we did give them 5 star reviews but when we seen they were not totally honest with us we deleted them. i called them and the lending sharks to try to get a better rate. i was begging them but what i got is a smug "our prices are our prices" and you get what you signed up for as to teach me a lesson. this felt like a punishment. i asked for an itemized bill. this enraged them that i asked them. they treated me like i was stupid and i should be jumping for joy that they put me in a $61,176 dollar debt double my homes value. hassle free? not for me. to try to get out of the high interest loan i had to get a home equity on a home i just paid off. the lending companies made it very hard on my lender to get out of the high interest loan on the work i did not need. what i would like is half of a refund of the $38000. i did not know about your very "exclusive" (eyeroll) packages and i did not want all of this. i did not want all the heated calls and i did not need anything that you did. very unhappy with Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical Services and the way you make money off of people like me. you are a horrible company and i wish i never trusted you and i will regret calling you the rest of my life. you did not help me or my home you did what was best for YOU and you seen a chance to make $38000 before christmas. i am leaving this review because not one question i had has been answered in a professional manner at all. my questions only recieved anger and smug answers. i did get an offer of $7000 if i sign something from their lawyer and no way will i ever trust Tiger Plumbing again. i am a perfect example of what not to be. without it being a copy and pasted responce tiger plumbing why did you upsell my wife a tankless water heater i did not need while i was at work? what were the violations that you surprisingly discovered? why did you charge me $500 for a $22 dryer vent kit? $9800 for a $1800 tankless water heater? do you really think a $38000 dollar debt with high interest and fees was my best option after i paid off my mortgage when all i needed was one water heater replaced. i will not change this review because i feel you took advantage of me and my trust. i want half of a refund. thank you for your time. update 5-5-2022 my questions remain unanswered and they have blocked me on google maps and facebook and have blocked my phone number from calling them. they do not like hearing from unhappy customers and refuse to answer questions about pricing in a professional manner. 4-30-2023. NO refund or explanation was ever given and i am still upset over them having my wife sign on a tablet in my name to pocket $38000 before christmas 2021. They stuck me with a tankless water heater i never wanted and never answered any questions i had. My opinion is i was fooled by false advertising and and i am still not ok with going from needing a $180 water heater to an outragous $38000 dollar debt with high interest. I think my wife was rushed to sign a contract without going over everything and i have contacted an attorney. Thank you for letting me post. Don B

Emergency Service Outstanding I broke the shower handle in our Master Bathroom requiring all the water to be turned off to the house. Tiger restored water and fixed the leak on a two trip basis. Outstanding work at a very fair price.

Comfort and Service Jeremy R came out and was able to show us what was going on with our furnace. He patiently answered all of my questions to help me understand what I was looking at. He told us a few things we could do to repair the machine so that it would last a little longer. After seeing the many things wrong though, I knew that replacement would be better for us in the long run. Jeremy made sure that our unit was safely working before he left so we had time to get replacement options and make a decision. Erik F helped us with pricing for different options based on performance. We picked the top furnace and Jeremy actually came back out to install the unit. He did an amazing job installing it. Our previous unit wasn't installed correctly which is part of the reason it was going out. Knowing that this one is installed correctly gives me peace of mind that we will get the most out of our purchase. The new furnace heats our home much more quickly and efficiently than the last one. We are looking forward to the energy savings we will be seeing this winter and in the years to come.
