I dealt with the Nottingham branch… I dealt with the Nottingham branch although I thought I would be dealing with Chesterfield. Jasmine and Daniel never returned phone calls and very rarely returned emails. At one point they were both off on annual leave and I was passed to 3 other people to try and help (who couldn't). I wouldn't recommend to anyone and wouldn't use them again. The whole process took longer than we thought it would with such a sort chain. They didn't answer phone calls and questions by our estate agent and made the whole sale more stressful than it actually needed to be.

Promised one thing and delivered another I had a disappointing experience when instructing Elliot Mather for the sale of my property but am not commenting on their ability to perform the legal work for a property sale to a decent standard. Prior to instruction, I discussed my requirement to be protected from legal costs in the case that the buyer withdrew from the sale and left me liable to pay hundreds of pounds in fees. I was assured that I could buy an insurance policy to pay the Elliot Mather fees in the event that the sale collapsed. I instructed them and received details of the proposed insurance policy, which would have left me liable to pay potentially hefty fees if the buyer pulled out of their purchase. I don't see why changing the names of a buyer(s) can cost hundreds of pounds as I was happy to continue with Elliot Mather if the sale collapsed and so they would ultimately get their full fee. Have now gone elsewhere and got a 'no sale no fee' agreement with a firm that are moving things very quickly at the moment. Clarification: further to your response to my review, I was given a quote whilst on the phone to your employee and was told that a policy for £66 would fully meet my needs. Your email follow up quoted £80 for a policy that did not meet my needs. I advise you to be honest and transparent in your response to reviews!

Despicable behaviours Despicable behaviours. Solicitor from Chesterfield branch had no morale's what so ever. Used mental health diagnosis as a stick to beat me with, didn't pay any attention to what the Judges ordered and advised his client to do what he wished. Ben was poor how he conducted himself and left me with little faith in the system.

Highly recommended Highly recommended. Seamless experience when dealing with Leanne from Elliot Mather when selling and buying our new home. Made everything so stress free. Polite, professional and kind, whilst dealing with my mountain of questions along the way. Thank you for everything, Leanne.
