GBvery poor service so frustrated with the Chesterfield branch. I was given one case-handler that then passed to another or possibly three at one stage, hard to keep track. Comms to my buyer and seller's solicitors are ridiculously slow despite an assurance they could complete within 12 weeks of instruction - we're now at 4 months and counting, no end in sight. One outstanding issue that was flagged months ago and still isn't resolved. I am given no advice about what I should be querying and it's only fortunate I am an experienced buyer. Wasting my hard earned money on a sale that may not proceed, seriously not impressed! The phone may as well not exist, all comms have been via email with the inevitable delays

GBI dealt with the Nottingham branch… I dealt with the Nottingham branch although I thought I would be dealing with Chesterfield. Jasmine and Daniel never returned phone calls and very rarely returned emails. At one point they were both off on annual leave and I was passed to 3 other people to try and help (who couldn't). I wouldn't recommend to anyone and wouldn't use them again. The whole process took longer than we thought it would with such a sort chain. They didn't answer phone calls and questions by our estate agent and made the whole sale more stressful than it actually needed to be.

GBExcellent service The whole team at Elliot Mather were excellent, particularly Katie, Andrew and Sarah. I was kept fully informed of all of the developments and there was always someone on hand to answer any questions I had. The team made what could be a very stressful experience go very smoothly. I'd recommend Elliot Mather to anyone buying or selling property and will definitely use them again.

GBTerrible service Terrible service, brocken promises. Please do not use this company for a WILL and certainly do not pay upfront. I had a very nice and friendly chat with Filip Feret who after speaking to serval solicitors had put my mind at rest about our needs for a very sensitive WILL we even wanted to trust Elliot Mather to be the executor of our estate. After our indepth conversation and after meeting filip face to face again pointing out our needs, I was dubious about payment upfront but he filled me with trust that we would get a brilliant WILL he even suggested afterwards that we would should start talking about holidays. And stop this talk about WILLS and death etc. So as you can imagine I was filled with hope and trust from Filip Feret. We got the draft WILLS sent over by email they was 2 pages of utter rubbish and not worth the paper they would be printed on. I have since tried to sort this out with Filip but he is refusing to change the wording that he first promised. He did however ask me to give him a idea of how I wanted it wording which I thought was very unprofessional as this is what we was paying him for and then to do his work for him aswell So I agreed and gave him my wording that just made it clear in our instructions and filip just replied by saying I can not use that but never tried to meet us halfway with an alternative. And left it if you wish to discuss it further please get intouch. I now have lost all faith in the company and wish for a full refund. On the grounds I have been Miss sold the WILL under false pretending, and misrepresentation. I will be taking this matter further at this point due to the amount of stress it has caused us.
