GBBuy from a different company. Bad company to deal with. I brought a half barrel from amazon. It came in two black bin bags. Half a ton of sand in the bags and the item was caked in soot. Took hours to clean and even now the soot is still stuck in the wedgers. The bottom of the barrel had just been sown off and was left jaggered, so i had to sand it to get it smooth. I could go on. Anyway, i told this company i wanted to return it, and they emailed me back and said 'No, we will not accept a return on this item as the buyer has damaged it. WoW!!! My advice = Shop somewhere else. Just read their reply. All i can say is i have nothing to win from leaving this review.

GBCommunication could be better. Much better. I bought some bourbon barrel pieces for smoking for their website (they also have an Etsy store too) The product was fine and as expected. My original order include some other items. It seems when you order from a mobile phone it doesn't show you that items are out of stock. Matt ( I presume the owner) quickly email me to inform me that they were out of stock and he would refund the difference. All good. But he has ignored all me emails communication since. Maybe he didn't think it was important enough to warrant a response. Maybe on a more important matter he would have. I did receive an automatic email stating that due to current restrictions they are taking longer to reply than usual, I know people are busy but a one line email take seconds. I received over 400 email a day and am able to action / respond to every one. Be interesting if he responds to this.

GBTerrible customer service. I ordered a barrel from them through Amazon. I got a message from Amazon that delivery had been attempted but could not be completed, and I needed to contact the carrier. When I did, I provided them with my shipping number. They asked to verify the delivery address. When I gave them the address -- which is clearly visible on the Amazon order page, and is the same address I've used many times in the past couple weeks without issue -- they said it didn't match what they had, and as such, they could help me no further. Apparently they had a different/wrong address than the one on my Amazon order. So I reached out to Amazon, who sent the seller a message. I replied to that message to provide additional detail. I never heard back (I was told to wait 48 hours for a response) but when I got up the next day, I had a message from Amazon that my order had been refunded. I did not request a refund. I wanted the item I ordered. I wanted the seller to provide customer service and solve my issue. Instead I got no explanation, and my order was cancelled against my will. This is no way to run a business. I have documentation and screenshots available to verify my account of what happened. No attempt was made to fix the issue. No attempt was made to contact me. They just ended the order -- what a tremendously frustrating experience, and incredible waste of my time. Now I have to wait to see if the refund I was issued actually shows up. Based on some of the one-star reviews on Amazon, I'm not holding my breath. Would give zero stars if it were possible.
