Using E-ITA was a life saver when rental company did not highlight my NZ license would not work in Spain Using E-ITA was great. I had not been told by the car rental company that I would need an International Drivers license in Spain ( I had just assumed a NZ drivers license would work throughout Europe) I used E-ITA, printed out the confirmation documents at the hotel and the car rental company were happy. I also have the paper version for future car rental as when I am travelling

The website isn't clear enough on how… The website isn't clear enough on how long it takes to get the international driver's license. We didn't find out anything about even needing an international driver's license until the day before, so my daughter and I were freaking out about it and didn't know if we were going to have it on time for our trip.

I thought I would be having problems… I thought I would be having problems with officers on the road as it was my first time using international drivers license, but we’ll all is good without having any challenges.
