GBPurchasing books I worked with Ashley Bullington. She had previously worked with my husband and seemed to think that somehow (osmosis?) I knew everything she had discussed with him. Nearly every time I asked a question her reply started with "as I discussed with Lem". He died in December. I have no way of knowing what they discussed. This entire transaction was an exercise in frustration.

GBThey never ran out of helpful ideas The project I most wanted them to do was to convert a mathematical book from one font to another, including thousands of mathematical symbols. I could not give them access to the AMS LATEX file and the job was extremely difficult without such tex files. At times,when I thought we should abandon this effort, they kept working on it and came through at the end.
