GBStaying Engaged I give EPIC 5 stars. It is user friendly and my grands were accustom to using it at school. They enjoy being able to open a book on their phone or iPad without having to go to the library. I like because it keeps them reading with the ability to test their comprehension on some material. The only think I think they could do to improve is add more reading material for older students.

GBNot worth it Not worth it. No challenging content for kids trying to grow their reading skills. Limited library overall. Save your money, go to your local library and give your kids the life long value of discovering actual books, not just regurgitated branded lowest common denominator content. Also, their customer support turnaround times are terrible and their answers not helpful.

GBAmazing for all From a teacher and a parent standpoint, Epic is great!! I love that I can find themed books and make collections for my students. There is such a wide range in levels which makes it great for differentiating and allowing students to choose lots of different kids of books. The variety of book genres/ types (picture, chapter, graphic novels) is also fabulous. All in all I would recommend this to any teacher and to parents as well.

GBI got this service for the offline book… I got this service for the offline book reading during a trip. It was problematic and constantly was logging me out and since I didn't have internet service, I couldn't log back in to have access to books. When we were able to listen to books, the longer chapter books didn't save where you were at in the book, and it restared at the beginning every time the app was opened. My kids love Epic, but if you want this to use this service offline, it's not reliable.
