Pathetic support I absolutely agree with a previous review about horrible support and rude people. It is clear to me, after being a customer for the past 16 years or so, that the last couple of years has shown a steep decline in support. They have increased their fee by 50% since 2020. Not a great trend, higher prices for a lesser product and bad support. They like to blame the states for e-filing issues, but I caught them in a lie today. I'm done after 2023 season.

Don't you dare make a mistake on pay-per-return or they will refuse to give money back even if they didn't provide the service. Very dishonest, unethical people. They software itself is pretty bad. It would take less time to prepare simple returns on paper because of all their little nuances scattered in all nooks and crannies throughout the software. Their lower prices reflect their quality. Best to stay away and find a tax preparation software that will actually work for you.

Your programmers need to stop trying to… Your programmers need to stop trying to 2nd guess taxpreparers. The program should not generate amounts such as on State returns : Ohio STX2 estimated tax that adds to the amount on the Ohio return. Easy to Use We've been using Drake Software for the last 10 years now and have always been very pleased with the accuracy, ease of use, and vast options the company has given us. The tax planner is helpful for clients to prepare for the next year or give them several scenarios for making decisions.

I've been using Drake since 2015 I've been using Drake since 2015. I find the product pretty solid. The support is great. The only weakness is in Ohio cities', which is found with all tax software. The changes just prior and during the 2022 filing season have been cumbersome. I am glad the different sign-ons have been consolidated but the instructions on the resulting screens are unhelpful.
