They are intuitive, informative, affordable, and helpful. Their support staff is always available and they are able to solve 99% of the questions and concerns I might have. Your programmers need to stop trying to… Your programmers need to stop trying to 2nd guess taxpreparers. The program should not generate amounts such as on State returns : Ohio STX2 estimated tax that adds to the amount on the Ohio return. No email communication I've been using Drake Tax and Drake Payroll for a while now. The Software itself isn't bad but my issue is with IRS rejected filings. Drake wouldn't notify the tax preparer that a return has been rejected. Drake does receive the status update from the IRS but it won't send an email to the tax preparer to notify them as such. This software isn't cheap but it's basically useless in these type of situations. This causes so much grief to resolve the issues once discovered.
