The program should not generate amounts such as on State returns : Ohio STX2 estimated tax that adds to the amount on the Ohio return. Too many issues. I cant import data by uploading W2 or 1099 forms. Had an issue with Drake not allowing me to efile return I had already paid for, now that is fixed but I can no longer print anything. Drake acts like it is going thru the process of creating a pdf but nothing ever shows up. We think we will be using other software for TY2023

We've been using Drake Software since 1985 and have always been very pleased with the accuracy, ease of use, and wonderful options given to us by the company. Support is great, and the company listens when we ask for additions or changes that help us in our business. The tax planner is such a helpful tool to help clients prepare for the next year or give them several scenarios for making decisions. Drake Software helps us provide a wonderful service for our clients at an affordable cost. Highly recommend!

Awful Company and terrible software Awful Company and terrible software. Don't you dare make a mistake on pay-per-return or they will refuse to give money back even if they didn't provide the service. Very dishonest, unethical people. They software itself is pretty bad. It would take less time to prepare simple returns on paper because of all their little nuances scattered in all nooks and crannies throughout the software. Their lower prices reflect their quality. Best to stay away and find a tax preparation software that will actually work for you.

We appreciate the software team We appreciate the software team. In particular the telephone support team is quick, efficient, personable, and easy to engage in meaningful conversation. They come up with solutions and show their thorough knowledge by doing it quickly. A couple things that would be good: 1. A single button to quickly print the Engagement Letter from the list of returns. 2. Consistent placement of the PRNT and Notes screens across return types. Put them all in miscellaneous or whereever.
