GBOutstanding Company I work for a broadcast company where we process hundreds of thousands of pieces of digital media annually. We work with many companies that transcode, caption, and deliver media via automation. For the most part, they all do the same things and do them just about as well as each other, with the only notable differences being the names of the companies. Then there is Aberdeen. What makes Aberdeen stand above the glut of other media services for us is the service that their team provides. Every single member of their team that I have worked with over the years has been exceptionally responsive, informed, friendly, and always follows through (Sales, Account Managers, Technical Team). Anyone who works in media knows what it is like to have something time sensitive go wrong on a Friday afternoon and knows the feeling of despair that the “automated response” regurgitated from a customer support portal invokes when you are trying to resolve the issue. It may as well read “I hope you packed a lunch; this is gonna take a day or four”. This is never a thing with Aberdeen. Someone always quickly responds, and always follows up afterwards to make sure things were resolved. This is the reason why Aberdeen is our go-to for any priority projects or any that are technically challenging. I am always confident that things will get done on time and correctly.
