DEOctiive is okay Octiive is okay, but when I requested my payout to my Paypal account, Paypal blocked my whole account and requested Octiive to confirm the transaction. I contacted Octiive for support, but I didn't receive any professional assistance. My PayPal stay was blocked, my normal salary also got blocked, and I wasn't able to pay for my apartment. So for me it was not a nice experience at all.

GBExcellent service, very happy Rather confused about some of the reviews here, but you don't often think to write a review if everything goes smoothly, do you? In my case, things have run like clockwork now for over two years, after 5 albums and numerous singles. They all come out on time and I get paid quickly (with very good breakdown of the sale type and country etc). The web interface was a bit quirky two years ago, but it is much better now. The number of stores (750) is unrivalled and the prices are reasonable. The choice of genres is huge. The best part however has been the service. I have had some pretty weird requests and all have been dealt with promptly. Once YouTube didn't list an album (title was a bit dodgy!) - but it was dealt with and YouTube had it on their site within 2 days. I wanted something special on The Qobuz, Tidal and 7 Digital platforms - and it was arranged quickly I bought a PR Blast - and they listen to your stuff properly. I had quite a chat with the guy who did it. Octiive really is run by musicians, not business moguls. They understand what it is like and they DO try to help. Octiive may not be for everyone, but it suits me perfectly - I am a solo artist and just want to my music out there, in as many places as possible, including China.

JMThey should not be in business...They… They should not be in business...They look good, but have no idea what they are doing..after waiting almost a month to go live they botched it and the single was released under a unverified rogue account... After demanding a take done..i had difficulty reuploading the track to other distributors..and its been hell since.. STAY FAR!!..

USAnnual Albums Never Released On Time My fiancé releases an album every 5/23, and Octiive managed to mess up the last 2 years (2020 & 2021). He loads everything a month in advance on their site, but it never seems to be enough time for them to figure things out. Last year it was that Apple was taking a while with the explicit songs, but they didn’t tell him this in advance - instead HE had to reach out to them THE DAY (5/23/20) he saw the album was NOT available and it didn’t get resolved for about a week ; this year it’s that Apple won’t accept the image for the album cover, so he sent a clearer/larger version (still leaving them with 3 weeks to do their job) - but 5/23/21 NO ALBUM released... again, HE had to contact THEM. They got back to him 5/24/21 saying it was still the image issue. It’s just unprofessional. He pays an annual fee to be able to release these 5/23 albums (plus more)... but this specific date is what he promotes. Then they always have issues. We will see if they offer to discount or something. Might not be worth continuing this contract.

GBPoor and slow service caused me to… Poor and slow service caused me to cancel my account with them May 2020. It clearly states in my account that I cancelled it. Come May 2021 they take a new annual payment via Paypal.
