Made a purchase from one of their sponsored sellers, seller sent junk, didn’t back up product even though warranty was active, paid high interest for a product that I sent to scrapyard. Better business bureau complaint filed. Seller never responded. Why a finance company would do business with such a corrupt company I will never know. Paying over time allowed me to manage my cash flow more easily rather than paying the cash price at the time of purchase. I live on a fixed income and this alternative gave me the means to make my purchase and budget payment over time.

Bait and Switch Looked into buying some furniture, not super expensive and Bread said to apply for financing. I clicked the link and applied and I received an email stating that it I was pre-approved for up to $2,500. Great, I think, so I go back to shop. I select $1,800 in merchandise & check out. Bread immediately declines me. Ridiculous. (And by the way, I can easily pay cash for the furniture)
