GBEfficient Service I was initially hesitant to send my currency in the mail to an company I had never used before. However, with limited options in town, I thought I would take the chance. The website process was straightforward. The form that I was supposed to print and enclose in the envelope did not load correctly, so I just took a screenshot and sent that instead. They sent an email once the currency had been received and the exchanged currency was processed about 5 days later. After this initial experience I would definitely use the company again.

GBMultiple coin types Had no idea how to turn in multiple types of coins my husband had picked up from years as an overseas pilot. I was able to use the website resources to identify most of them and was pleased with the website tip to ship to ship USPS in a box with a reasonable fee no matter the weight. I received my check in a timely manner. Would definitely use this service again!

SIExcellent! Hi. I was for starters honestly surprised that someone had actually thought of all us travellers that come back home with foreign currency leftovers - which nobody at home would exchange and which usually end up in a forgotten box in some place or the other. Foreign Currency And Exchange provides an excellent service with clear instructions, so that I was able to send them my mixture of leftover currencies with payment precalculated and done immedeatelly after my package was delievered. Eventhough they are located in the USA, postal costs weren't too high and I actually got a nice sum for my leftover currencies. So, thanks for your service! Same badly needed in Europe as well! GBPoor Experince I tried this service out with some leftover bills from a trip to Nepal. I went in sort of expecting some sort of issue, but it was for a small amount. But issues are what occurred. The owner responded to my initial status request saying he did not receive anything yet but was looking fwd to it since he had another customer going to Nepal shortly. Which outside that chance occurrence, had me wondering why that would matter considering this was for roughly $35. Instead of getting the current exchange with this service, what I got was the feeling of being gaslit by his response when I initially inquired about the status of this exchange. I guess things can always get lost in the mail, but sort of funny this is my first occurrence of such an event. Even more so with this being in the same city. Do not recommend.

GBProbably the best/only mail-in option available One gift card that I sent was not credited. The rest of the currency, coins and cards were properly exchanged and the total was promptly deposited into my bank account. I followed up twice, hoping to clear up what happened. I never got a response. According to the order form that I submitted, the item was a $10 gift card worth $5, so it wasn't a huge deal, but I would have appreciated some explanation, like 1) We don't accept that kind of card anymore, 2) There was something wrong with the card, or 3) Whoops, we'll take another look and get back to you. This is a really unique service so I wanted it to be useful, but I can't strongly recommend that people put a lot of trust in it. I'd be reluctant to use it again. Definitely read the ENTIRE website like I did. As the owner recommends, always send money using a service with tracking numbers. I will add: photograph everything you send, and don't send large amounts in one order...just in case something is lost. If you have a big jar of random coins and currency that's collecting dust, this might be worth a try. You don't have much to lose. I liked being able to send gift cards that I wasn't likely to use.
