Flagstar bank is possibly the worst… Flagstar bank is possibly the worst bank Ever in the history of Banks. I can’t understand how the federal government allows them to continue in business. I worked with them for two full years, 24 payments, when they were threatening to foreclose on my home, even though the payments were coming out of my bank account. After two years and an attorney, I discovered Flagstar bank gave me two account numbers so the money I was paying in mortgage was going into someone else’s account. Flagstar stated they knew this but “” Just didn’t fix it. Don’t use this bank if you can avoid it.

I am a customer with them and have been… I am a customer with them and have been for several years. I always make my payments on time. Recently, I accidentally double paid my mortgage. I asked that the second payment be refunded. I have been given the run around for refund the extra payment. The keep emailing me and asking for proof documents to include a print of their payment system, my back records, evidence I have a positive balance, ect... They just keep asking for more documents to delay the refund. When I call no one from the refund office will take my call. This place is a joke. Customer service is terrible. Their refund policy is terrible.

Flagstar Investment Division Failed Miserably As a long time customer, if able I would give this institution no stars. I purchased an annuity from a Ft Wayne, IN branch with a three year maturity. Due to management ineptitude in Ft Wayne and Grand Rapids,MI it has been nearly thirty days since maturity without funds having been sent. In speaking directly to the company that Flagstar brokered with, I was told that obviously they are having difficulty executing procedural matters necessary to correctly process and ensure monies being remitted. While having no banking or annuity sales experience within 30 minutes I successfully completed the required forms which Flagstar failed to provide and was told the monies would be in my account within two business days.

Inept We bought a house and used them for our loan. After a few months they told us they were taking too much out for taxes and lowered our payment. 18 months later they inform us they made another mistake and did not take out enough for taxes and we owe $6,000 in back taxes. These people failed miserably at property escrow monitoring. Do not use these morons. They are completely inept at banking.

Flagstar bank is in no way making any… Flagstar bank is in no way making any attempts to help us save our home. The refuse to process our docs, have hung up on us on several occasions, told us we wont be approved for mortgage assistance,told under review many times only to hv them ask for more docs. Been able to mk pyts for over a year bt they wont tk our payments. Covid Forebearance was a deceitful attempt to steal our homes.
