They pay people for all their positive reviews THIS COMPANY IS ALL KIND OF SHADY AND WE ALL HAVE DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE BUT THEY ALL TELL THE SAME STORY OF HOW WE EITHER GOT SCAMMED OR ALMOST. I called customer service yesterday… I called customer service yesterday about a promo for a new card. I was transferred three times and then hung up on. Why have a great bank with fourth rate customer service? The people I spoke to had very limited English speaking skills. I constantly had to repeat myself. If this is the best you can do, I'll stop using my card. PRH

Outstanding Dispute Citi failed to credit my account within 5 days of the merchant issuing a $5,000 refund on my card. After opening a dispute they issued a conditional refund until the merchant refund is posted. Short of it is one month later the merchant and conditional refunds are still on my account completely screwing up the balance. I can't pay my bills!!!! I have made 7 calls and escalated it 3 times. The last call I was promised it would be corrected in two days. That was 5 days ago. Pathetic service. Shame on them. Typical greedy corporation focusing on profit centers and not customer facing cost centers. As I wait for someone to do their job I have changed all my auto pay expenses to another card and will not use this card.

I was recently diagnosed with stage 4… I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. They did surgery a week ago Tuesday and found massive spread. They closed me back up and gave me 4 to 5 months to live. I've never missed a payment in my life. I called all creditors and made arrangements to get my affairs situated and all balances paid. Hopefully with some consideration for hardship. Every company ACCEPT Citibank offered some help. Citibank, without notice closed my account. What an immoral, dirty, sinful company Citibank is. They literally closed my account because I'm dying of cancer!!!!

CITI SUCKS! Quite simply, this is NOT a bank for the average, everyday customer. This is a bank that values it's commercial clients over the little guy every time. They lie about interest rates (bait and switch), and don't ever have a dispute with a merchant. They will win every time even when provided with written proof of the issue. There are better credit card deals out there and better banks like Discover that are upfront with their customers about everything, offer competitive interest rates and LISTENS to their customer base. RUN, don't walk away from this bank!!!
