GBdon't waste your time there Their customer service is unprofessional, rude and useless. The environment is very poor and you can often hear much noise like someone else's chatting over the phone. You ask them to do something and they tell you it's done, while it turns out nothing has been done later.

GBNEVER USE CITIBANK! Don't get sucked into signing up for Citibank card when booking AA flights like I did. They promised a $200 statement credit if I signed up for their card when booking a flight. I did & got approved but they will not honor the $200 credit. Awful, useless non-existent customer service, repeatedly telling me "there's nothing we can do". I cancelled the card. I will never use them or American again as I feel conned. I will stick to Chase and United whom I've used consistently for over 15 years ~ much better service and flights.

GBI called customer service yesterday… I called customer service yesterday about a promo for a new card. I was transferred three times and then hung up on. Why have a great bank with fourth rate customer service? The people I spoke to had very limited English speaking skills. I constantly had to repeat myself. If this is the best you can do, I'll stop using my card. PRH

GBCITI SUCKS! Quite simply, this is NOT a bank for the average, everyday customer. This is a bank that values it's commercial clients over the little guy every time. They lie about interest rates (bait and switch), and don't ever have a dispute with a merchant. They will win every time even when provided with written proof of the issue. There are better credit card deals out there and better banks like Discover that are upfront with their customers about everything, offer competitive interest rates and LISTENS to their customer base. RUN, don't walk away from this bank!!!

GBPretty good, very reliable I've been banking with Citi for quite some time and not had many problems. Fees are low or non-existent; branch personnel are friendly and helpful. The Double Cash card works just as advertised, and provides a small but welcome bit of extra income every month. Interest rates are not competitive, however, so most of my CDs are elsewhere. I once attempted to open accounts for a housebound relative, and was told they couldn't be opened unless the account holder was present. That seemed odd, considering online accounts don't require you to be present.
