GBI chose to go with AFS because they are a non profit. I chose to go with AFS because they are a nonprofit and didn't come across as predatory. Every time I had a question, I called and a representative was always kind and helpful. When I was able to pay my debt down earlier than expected, they were accommodating and made it easy.

GBGreat Experience Every person I have worked with over the phone at AFS has been great. Any time I called to make an extra payment, they would be genuinely excited for me. They must have a great company culture and have a team of individuals who actually care about helping people. They negotiated a payment plan for 6 years at half the normal interest rate for my 2 credit cards. I was able to pay it off in 3.5 years. Highly recommend using this company.
